haha did everyone on this forum go to fucking culinary school? yeah i dunno, i guess its just vinegar and cooking oil? or like mayonnaise and vinegar or something... i only have like white vinegar and canola oil... thats got to taste cheap

simplest ingredients for a dressing (and yes, I have been to culinary school..) olive oil (extra virgin), white wine vinegar, pepper & salt. 1 spoon of vinegar to 3 spoons of oil. Skake in a little jar to get the best result...

cider vinegar is the bullshit homeopathic solution to everything... people actually take cider vinegar pills... all it does is burn your throat and lower your bodies potassium levels

About salad, here we go



Cherry tomato, cucumber and green bean salad


Ingredients
150g cherry tomatoes, halved
1 Lebanese cucumber, sliced
90g baby green beans, trimmed
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon finely chopped dill
1 avocado, peeled, stone removed, sliced
salt and pepper

Method
Step 1
Place the tomato and cucumber in a large bowl.
Step 2
Cook beans in a saucepan of boiling water for 2-3 minutes or until bright green and crisp. Drain again and refresh in iced water. Drain and set aside.
Step 3
To make the dressing, combine olive oil, lemon juice and dill. Whisk.
Step 4
To serve, add beans and avocado to tomato mixture. Season with salt and cracked black pepper. Drizzle with dressing and gently toss to combine. Transfer to a serving bowl. Serve.
