Actor & comedian Robin Williams was found dead Monday in his Northern California home after an apparent suicide, authorities said. He was 63.

Robin was a very Talented actor and comedian, my thoughts are with his wife and children.

Such a shame, a big talent all wrapped up in a sad man. It should serve to remind us that we are not always as we seem and that we should endeavour to care for one another

Your friends may welcome you "Nano-Nano". Are you back on Ork now? "Mork and Mindy" was one of my first tv series I watched and I remember I was crying because of laughter. You made me laughing again and again and I used your Tootsie-role for an idea on stage too.
Your variety was unique. No matter if comedy, drama, thriller... you always were one with your role and authentic.

If it's true, you shared the same fate with many other great artists - depression. I hope you're free now.

RIP Robin

I will never understand suicide. I loved Robin Williams since Mork and Mindy. I loved his first steps into more serious roles ("The World According to Garp") but now my sadness is coupled with a humongous "WHY!?"

Why Robin? What pressed upon you to make that seem the only option, the only out?

-From Robin Williams 1979
There was an old, crazy dude who used to live a long time ago. His name was Lord Buckley. And he said, a long time ago, he said, "People--they're kinda like flowers, and it's been a privilege walking in your garden." My love goes with you.

This is jaw droping to say the least.

First news I've heard of it, and I am just now scrambling to catch up on this apparent breaking news. I shake my head in disbelief, amazed that Robin Williams - a person beloved for bringing laughter and joy to millions- gave in to suicide, presumably after going through episodes of deep depression. I guess even a person like Robin Williams is not immune to it.

As a kid I sang aloud your song "Friend like me" from the animated movie Aladdin over and over, until the lyrics were etched inside my head (forever) . If or when I have a kid, I'll make sure to show this classic movie to my child. No doubt he/she will be a fan of it.

very sad news...

"I used to think that the worst thing in life was to end up all alone. It’s not. The worst thing in life is ending up with people who make you feel all alone.”

- Robin Williams as Lance Clayton in World’s Greatest Dad (2009)

I hope you find your peace Robin...God bless you far all the joy you did bring to this world/

You're only given one little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.
Robin Williams

I guess this living Peter Pan finally lost his illusions about our grown ups world.

Makes me very sad people like him who make us laugh and feel so much can end like this. The less selfish you are, the less you get.

Well he is now flying in a place where joy has it's place again...

RIP Robin!

I was saddened and  felt disbelief  at the news of  Robin Williams premature death. Why did you do it? Did you just have enough?

His depression and demons must have been so overpowering in that moment of decision to end it all by hanging himself in his bedroom.

I  hope that out of all this, persons who feel that overwhelming darkness to end it, will think of the people they leave behind and that they are loved and needed and that there is a gaping hole  of them being missed by family and friends.  There is help out there, just reach out for it.

Seek help, don't suffer in silence.

Robin Williams, in your 63 years , you bought joy to many.  You made us laugh, you made us smile as mentioned in the films above. You  did some wonderful charity work and cheered up troops at war.  You have left a wonderful legacy.

One of my personal favourites was  Mrs Doubtfire.

In this film - One Hour Photo, however, it showed you could even be  scary  as Sy ..  you were a man of many talents.  You will be missed.   Rest in peace now, suffer no more.
Thoughts and prayers are with the Williams family.
