I have a few ideas that might ease the issue of gift whores. The first is to have a check box in one's profile to identify yourself as a gift whore. This way people can hide you or find you depending on their preference.

The second idea is to let vip users buy clothes they can loan to free users while they are in their room. So basically vips would own the clothes that they want to see the free users in. A few options to this follow. The vip can dress the free user. The other option is the free user can raid the vips closet. It would be up to the vip as to which option they want. This would apply to makeup and nails and things as well. Basically a head to toe makeover of a free user per the vip's desire. To speed the process. The vip can save various outfit and makeup configurations.

So in the first idea; whores can more easily be identified, found, or hid. This way no one is being surprised by a whore. In the second, there would be less need for gifts as free users would have access to clothes. The best part is the vip's would get to see their partners dressed the way they like, if both parties are agreeable to it.

Another issue free users run into is that their vip partners want them to be able to cum and slow the action. My thought on this is if you had an option that vip user's could purchase that would allow any free user they are with to cum and change speed. This way vip users don't have to gift free users in the first place. If a vip purchases this option then any partner they are with can cum and change speed.

Whore only would be shown as whores, if they admit. I'm sure, many would disagree to be one, but ask for a little present once in room.

Being a VIP-member sounds a good idea indeed. Question is, how much would it cost, because if it's too much, nobody would buy it. If it's just a small extra fee, AChat wouldn't get enough money.

the free user would not be vip under my proposed change. they would only be able to cum and change speed while with the vip user who purchased the option. a free user could always upgrade to vip and get all the benefits of that. not sure what achat might charge for such an option.

a free user may still want to upgrade to vip since that would be the only way they could have their own persistent identity and have control. poses of their choice etc. the changes i am talking about just add enjoyment for the vip user and require a willing free user to participate.

the main goal behind the proposed changes is to reduce the need to be a gift whore in the first place.

Now we have 3 kind of members: Free user, free member and prem. I see your suggestion as a 4th option: VIP-member. Prem who pay extra to be VIP.
To be VIP, you have to pay more of course and that is where my question is beginning. Maybe there could be more benefits than just inviting free members, who are in room, to cum or wear other clothes. I haven't thought about this idea before, but it could be the chance to indivualize your room, more options for your avi, having your own poker room...

In the end, it only does make sense if it's not too expensive to become VIP AND also gives money to the A-team.

to me free users, like myself, don't have the money to play the game in the first place. so those people will probably never pay for anything anyhow. so at least this way, the vip users can have more fun. they are the one's paying for stuff. currently, they are paying free users to enhance the vip game play. so this just enhances a vip users game play but keeps their money with them where it belongs. even though i am a free user, i hate all the gift whoring. i think it is wrong to shake down vip users.

currently, vip users are the ones paying one way or the other. so hopefully these ideas would help cut down on the whoring. i'm not sure what you mean about three types of users. do you mean:

free user
vip user
free user who is temporarily vip due to gift from a vip user

if that's what you mean, i guess you are right. i hadn't thought of it that way. my proposed idea would still leave a free user as a free user. they wouldn't be able to buy their own clothes or cum and slow speed on their own. but it sounds like you get what i mean. i think i'm the confused one now. trying to explain stuff i'm thinking is difficult for me. sorry.

Its a good idea & interesting.   I think these are the 4 options Lover is referring to ...

The 4 member options  are :

1.  Free user =   basic, never bought a membership and use gifts to play. They cannot usually gift. (Unless this has changed recently)

2.  Free user who is  between subscriptions =  They have bought a membership previously but have not renewed. They can renew by paying another subscription or by being gifted & using a ticket. They have the same facilities as paying members once valid again.

3.  Paying member = Premium. They have bought & paid their membership and it is still valid.

4.  VIP Member =  Premium member who pays an extra fee  for a free member to wear clothes / speed adjuster & cum whilst in their room. It ceases when the free member exits.

thanks, i see what you guys mean. i was thinking of it as things a vip could purchase in the store. similar to how they buy poses or clothes. because not all vips care if you can cum or not. but having it as a fourth member option might make sense too. the way i was thinking of it each option would be separate. an option to allow you to dress free users. and an option to allow free users to cum and slow action. if they bought the clothes option when in the room they could either dress the free user or allow the free user to pick whatever clothes and makeup and things that they have in their closet. also the vip could save combinations he likes to make it fast to dress the free user. any way they chose to implement this would be fine with me. whether it is a separate membership or options they could buy. but at least the stuff the vip buys is his. and i think that is fair. hopefully it will cut down on gift whores.

Brandy said it - at the moment, we have 3 kinds of members/users. VIP would be 4th to me.

To buy VIP you have to be prem. Then you can buy clothes, which you can give free members when you room them, make them prem for this date (they can cum and change speed slider) or give them other gifts (which hopefully will be added, eg sweets, flowers, drinks...).

To make it acceptable for AChat, we could say, fashion just can be worn for 10 times. Same with things in room. And you have to be a prem for 1 year to become VIP. My idea so far.

All in all I can say, I like your idea of VIP members.

the only issue i see with that is the 1 year wait. that will have a lot of prem members having to deal with the gift whores still. the idea is to remove the need to whore. and tag the remaining whores so they can be found or hid by the prem members. you can have a self identifying check box for gift whores. and then an option to report a user that hasn't marked themselves but tries to gift whore.

  You mean that I would have to pay MORE if I wanted a Free Member just to wear MY Clothes and to Cum, or be able to dress them up ? And then hope  "Gift Whoring" would stop.  I room with one particular Free User and we get on fine without him been able to Cum.  I Cum for both of us.  And after a chat and a glass of wine, or three, the clothes are ripped off anyway.  (But, he wouldn't wear my girly clothes).

  How Many people actually wear clothes when the action starts ?  Some people I room with have actually said that its nice to see someone who is actually naked. Some people don't like it.

  Oh, just one question.  Is it only Free Users that ask for gifts ?  If your answer is Yes.  Are you sure ?

the proposed change is a purely optional thing for the vip members. you would not be required to purchase the add-ons. as far as work for achat, there is very little. my original idea is that the clothes and the cum and speed are separate options to purchase. it would not just apply to clothes. it would be a complete makeover, face, makeup, jewelry what have you. so basically the vip member would have the option to have sex with an avatar that appeals to them. the other option is the free user can go and make an avatar to use. kind of surprise the vip user. but it would be the vip user's choice.

i totally believe this will reduce gift whoring. because it takes away the need for a vip user to gift a gift whore. it gives them all the power. why would a vip gift a gift whore with these options. the only reason would be if they can't find a partner. anyone wanting to gift whore could do so but there would be an option to be seen as one. so that the vip users can hide or find them quickly and easily.

the very first post of this thread has my original idea. lover is suggesting making it an extra add-on membership type thing. that is different than what i was proposing. but it is up to achat to decide; 1 if they want to do these things at all and 2 how to implement it. that would include cost.

no one is trying to say anyone can gift whore or not. it is a matter of reducing it and making the game play better for everyone. the free users would also not need to gift whore as much. since they can experience the whole game more often. the only remaining reason to gift whore would be that you are poor and can't afford to be a vip member and you also want the control that they would have. but it would be much more difficult for a gift whore to gain enough credits to be vip under these proposed changes. since vips would not really need a gift whore unless desperate. and you would have to do a lot of whoring to gain enough credits to be useful.

in my opinion gifts should be because the vip user wants to gift you. that is how i get my gifts. it should not be a free user demanding a gift. that is what i'm trying to reduce with these changes. this stuff doesn't really affect me personally. it was just ideas i had to make the game better. i chat with a fair amount of people and you run into the gift whore issue quite often. that is to say, vip users being upset about gift whores. so i was trying to help them. but like i said, these changes would help the free users too, who aren't gift whores. since we could experience more of the game more often.

I am all for getting rid of gift whores but... there is a market out there for them or they would not survive. Some houses charge to for their whores to be used and once a guy gifts, they go on a gifting list that is passed around the whores and are targeted, over and over ...  it just spoils the game and is the darker side of Achat.
Each to their own though. Some do enjoy the seedy side and fantasise about it.

Only way to stop it, is refuse to pay the whores. You have paid Achat once, why pay again.

The VIP idea.  I think the clothing should be kept in a separate section, like your own wardrobe, not rented. The VIP could use the clothing options again and again  and the speeder and cum ability in use, whilst he is a VIP member. When it runs out, it gets locked up until the member renews that option again.

I meant you have to have a valid subscription for one year, not that you have to wait one year to become VIP.

@ Zu: No, you don't have to pay more to be prem. Only if you want to be VIP. VIP would mean, you could buy or rent clothes which free users/members can wear while you are in room with them. It wouldn't stop whores, but for sure would reduce the number of whores.

What we are doing is a brainstorming. Collecting ideas, talking about them... what is possible, what can be done, which of them do have benefits for us AND for the A-Team. Cause only if it's good for everyone, we will have the chance to get it.
Let's be honest. Some guys only have sex, because they pay (=gift). They have to pay a lot, don't they? If they could give clothes/stuff in room for some time, they still pay more but less than they are paying now.

And of course, becoming VIP is just an option, not a duty.

i didn't get what you meant at first. makes sense. yes about what everyone is saying. the idea is that instead of a vip's money going from him to a gift whore and then to achat. to just go from the vip to achat. cut out the gift whore. by allowing the vip to buy the clothes and avatar mods to loan to free users and allowing him to have the free user to change speed and cum, the vip user is getting what he wants, by directly paying achat for it. the free user is getting to experience the game better. the free users would also get more action because they are no longer useless. i mean how many times do you ignore a free user because you no they have nothing to offer game wise. so this way the vips have a use for the free user.

brandy i think i understand you but not sure. yes the clothes they buy to be used by the free users would be in the vip's closet.
