Ok, here's another problem...

When i saw that Achat was very slow, i uninstalled it and installed it again to see if it would change anything. And it changed something : when i want to run Achat, i get a message saying : « could not initialize display » ...

Does somebody know what it means ?

I don't know it but I have an idea. Does the GUI interface appear? Do you get the login screen?

Did you install the high-detailed version or the other one? Did you change from normal to high-detailed or vice versa?

Do you use a firewall? Did you change something in your hard- or software? Did you try a restart? Are there any problems with your graphic crad? Give us more backgrounds, which system are you using and so on...

I'm having a similar problem, I keep getting the Could not intialize display message, I've tried restarting and I've allowed A-chat through my firewalls. I'm using Windows 7 on a Toshiba Sattelitte P35-S6053, Maybe it's just my graphics card?

Which graphics card do you have? You have Windows 7, so I think you don't have a very old graphics card; did you change anything? You also can look for an update for your card; you also can delete all of your old files, make a new download and try again.

Since you are running Windows 7, I would suggest right clicking and selecting "Run as Administrator"
