I can't say I ever saw it myself, but it's probably a way to identify premium members.

A little story ::)...in the first days I was on AChat I ignored some people for some reason (to busy with others  ,spammers and colds) and when I saw them back they had a 'Black star,s' (laters I found out I blocked them as I try to messaged or chat them lol).
I thought they were more then the 'Blue star,s' ,but I know better now. :D.

Ok back to topic....why not having a other collour 'Star' for payed members ?

Red ,green or Gold maybe ?

Sorry, I like the idea of a single color for paid memberships. However, I do support the idea (and it's been suggested) for different colors to mean different things....like a green star for people that have A$ but no active subscription, maybe multiple stars for different things like buying all items (poses for example) in the shop. But being able to pick a color just for paying for a membership? I do NOT support that, and that is NOT an option on your poll

Not to pick an collour as payed member yourself.

I  mean to have the collour star as payed member (active subscription)  and  I searched  for the  topic about the matter..I came up with notthing.
Anyway I like the rest what you said Apollo

New idea here...collour of stars shows what 'orientation' people have :-).

"Color" for orientation makes the most sense. A quick reference on the Search results, saving one from looking at a needless profile. A good suggestion.

Whether someone has scrip in their account is no concern of mine, so I wasn't exactly thrilled with that suggestion.  Mulling over that idea of stars for poses...are you limiting it to [poses associated with orientation... I certainly do not hold MM poses... but all FM.

Very VERY true Urban.

More AChat related though is the fact that people already ignore orientation as it is. So this is sounding like coding that will give a sad majority something else to ignore before firing off their cold invites.

I don't mind the idea of giving members with a payed subscription a different colour from 'gifted' members. Though it doesn't seem to fit in the philosophy of AChat (show as many available women as possible so more guys will become prem). I would much rather see more extensive search options and more option to choose from in the character editor. For instance: an "RP" option could be very usefull since so many people do. And some people dislike it.. A few suggestions:
1. Increase the banner space, to 128 characters instead of 64
2. Limit country choices to a fixed list. Less spelling options, easier to find a specific person
3. Add more choices to Character type. Shy, outgoing, etc..
4. Add the choice of language. Some people only speak one language, other's speak multiple

These are just some ideas and suggestion and probably all expressed in previous topics. Still, it's worthwile to bring them back up..

Hmmmm well my thought was to link the collor to 'preferences' in a sort of settings ,so people that don't have the same 'preferences' can't invite you as supscribed member (course your friend/lovers can do that...friends/lovers can be in all forms)..saves lot of ignoring ( with or without the Ignore button) and time.

Hmmmm wondering what,s  more bad then the cold invites of people that don't share the same thoughts ,orientations  and whatever settings we can think of

LOL.....you bother checking colds Urban and wonder who you been invited from ?
I bet the whole profile covered with 'MEN = GIFT'  'PHOTOS FOR GIFTS' , 'MEN MUST BE PREMIUM'  ( and their selfs r non premium hehehe) and ' ONLY MEN IN ROOM = GIFT'..... like meny do here.
I can be generous..but I dont need payed sex or beggers...we r here for fun ...FOR GOD SAKES !!!!

Well I'm loooking for a good chat and if it clicks...then a step further (maybe workout a good roleplay).

PS: I dont have anything against non premiums...I  give atttention when I notice someone thats looks cutie or her name sound good for a non premium.

hmmm... more I think on this the more I agree with Janine in that the end result is just one more thing folks will ignore. I have the feeling that multiple variations will just be too difficult for people to grasp when thinking with the wrong head.
