Title: Erotic Story Contest III (Time Travel ) OT
Post by: TightFit74 on May 31, 2012, 04:53:37 PM: As the stories of contst II are posted and the poll is opened, I wanted to start discussing a new Topic for the next contest. I suggest to gather ideas for 4-6 weeks, then make a poll and the topic with the most votes, will be the topic for the contest.

I hope to be able to organise 3 contests per year, and as the length of them is about 5 months (3 for writing and entering, 2 for reading and voting), I suggest to start the entry period for contest IV to start after the first month of voting. With one month overlap, it is doable to organise 3 per year.

So topics..
As far as I’m conerned, everything goes, with the same ‘ingredients’ as before. So 5000-6000 words, something from Achat included, one storye per person. I’m thinking pirate theme, corporate/industrial theme, the victorian period.

I’m curious what you come up with...

aaand it's time for me to think about the request someone had made me (Tight was the first!) about a pic for every story: i'll thanks all of you for the efford you show for my works and i'm really tempted to do it, looking at all the submission we have this time, i have to admit it's a lot of work to do in, ummmm, a month or around it.
anyway, while we talk about the new subject, i'll promise you all to think on it more.

Out of this world ... Space Travellers... Time travel... would give a good range of choice to fire the imagination .. from Dr Who, to Star Wars to going back in time or even into the future ... and therfore would include the roaring 20s too :)

From what i can see, the more appreciated idea involve the recently update of yacht and the recent Trekkie uniform, so this can be a good point to start.

Personally, even if one of theme mentioned is really care to me, i'll think i don't gonna join for the moment couse i'll wanna focus on other project i have in mind ....but, well, i can change my mind, of course! so curious about what gonna happend!

Maybe i can try whit a simple black and white, to give it a sort of ancient book illustration style....

“Time Travel”

Announcing a new erotic story contest. For anyone to enter, judge or enjoy reading. Starring the theme of the contest: Time Travel.

As discussed on forum, something from AChat will be incorporated in each story, to emphasise the connection with the game, and to recognise the dev-team for sponsoring the contest. As before, there will be an entry period with a deadline, and then a voting period with a deadline as well. This time less cramped in time.

For anyone who’d like to enter, please take note of following notifications:

Rules:
1. Please do not break regulations or laws when submitting your story.
2. In the story, the central theme and something from Achat must be incorporated. The theme is Time Travel, the link to Achat must be based on a room, background or outfit, and preferably recognisably described.
3. The length of the story must not exceed 2 posts. 1 post allows 20,000 characters. That includes spaces as well. About 5500 – 6000 words, is the limit per story.
4. Only one story per contestant.
5. To submit your entry, please pm your story to the contest manager: tightfit74. When the story has been received, you will receive a message confirming the entry. Posting a story on forum by yourself, will disqualify you from the contest.

I'll be on the campaign trail again soon for all you experienced writers and would be writers. The last contest 's stories were great and I enjoyed reading everyone of them. It was one of my favourite topics. All those different & unique take on things ... Really entertaining.

It was also a great topic to get new members interested in Forum, I know a lot read this section, even if they haven't got the confidence to post yet. Just one of the reasons the AB&G & The Icehouse is successful I think, It's a good place to dip your toe & practice a bit of role playing & story telling...

1. As you can see from above, even though I did NOT promise anything, I did write a story for the first contest. Therefore, Brandybee has been relentless in "being on my tail". THE TRIP TO VISIT JESSICA’S PARENTS

I hate the subway in NYC. I am already tense enough thinking about my trip this weekend to be “inspected” by Jessica’s parents. We have been going together for about six months, so I guess I can’t put it off any longer. Ok, my little summary of the stories for Contest 3 – Time Travel, and why I like each and every one. ( This is not a critique, just a summary of my thoughts )

1. Surprise in the Basement.
This story is about two business acquaintances who move their relationship on a little  in the basement of a house. They unexpectedly find a time machine and travel, very erotically, through time to the future, where the house is not a house anymore. They meet an interesting guy from their past & have some fun before returning home. It is funny, hot and a surprising little gift at the end. I get a feeling this person is not a native English speaker, so the hard work in translating should be greatly applauded & recognised. It’d hot , erotic and I like this story.

2. Eva.
This story is about an old favourite couple of mine, one of whom is Robot Girl. It mentions a lot of favourite Achat charachters and very cleverly intertwines previous posts on Forum ( See how many you can spot? I got 3 from the AB&G & 1 from The Icehouse ) & of course, a previous story – A Sirens Song from Contest 2. This story seems to have been a lot in the planning and is quite ingenious. It’s clever, witty and well worth a reread, in case you miss those hidden gems. I love it. A story of heroism, love and infatuation, over time - past and present.

3. A Night to Remember.
This story is about a guy re-living an erotic night from his past. Its hot, exciting with unusual twists. Was it time travel or a fantasy in the shower? Let the reader decide. I loved it.

4. To There and Back, Again.
An erotic story set in the dark past where witches are prevalent. Its well written and also mentions some Achat charachters. The main character has to decide if he decides to stay in another dimension. It’s enthralling, hot and catches the imagination. I liked this too and was compelled to find out the ending. Loved it.

5. Tick Tock Shock.
A story of a mad scientist sending his friend to meet the man of her dreams, and off into another dimention. It’s hot, erotic with a surprising twist at the end. A story of fantasy and desire and a turn on for the reader. Loved it.

6. Forever My Love.
A story of the consequence of war in a fantasy world of serpents and princesses, . Of undying and unwavering love for a female warrior by her princess. Again I get the impression, this may be written by a person whose first language is not English and their hard work and effort should be applauded in their writing and translation. It’s a lovely story & warms the heart. Loved it.

7. A Mysterious Room.
The story of a mature woman enjoying the benefit of a mysterious room that steps into the past. Oh, if only I had one too !! It’s well written, hot, racy and the reader is sure to enjoy. I know I did.

8. Mata Hari.
This is a clever story of stepping into the past and meeting a well known historic figure. Its compelling to read and interesting to find out the ending. The author obviously put a lot of thought into not allowing the past to be altered and the consequences for the future. Well written, intriguing & I loved it.

9. Pinecrest Inn.
A story of two lovers who visit a Flea Market, buy some antique jewellery and stay at an Inn, which is themed in the past. It’s well written, highly naughty & erotic with a surprising intriguing twist. I enjoyed this story and think the readers will too.

10. Thrust Through Time.
A story of a time traveller, collecting species from the past to ensure survival in the future and meeting 2 erotic and mischievious ladies. A clever title name too. A very hot adventure on one of his journeys. Again well written and the reader is sure to enjoy his escapade. Very enjoyable.

11. Little Red’s Riding.
A naughty story and a twist on the famous children’s story with almost the same name. It’s an interesting read and very hot and horny. Its well written and an enjoyable read.

So there you have it, my indecision on choosing the one I like best. All are clever and unique in their own way, yet again.

Maybe I need to read them all over again ... hehe :P :P

In the interests of fairness and the stories remaining anonymous until voting is over, I think it would be nice if you waited till after the polls have closed and the authors published. That way it maintains the integrity of the voting as best we can :)

That's my view anyway, but will accept the Contests managers decision as final or the majority rule .

You asking who inspires the stories we write? That will be interesting.

Secret Summer Tryst was inspired by my Spouse who had returned to me briefly after a long break from the game. I was overjoyed at his impending return and my story was born :)
