Here is one fact I found on one of the websites and direct quote from Hemmy.net
The top spot goes to ti-ligers/ti-tigon/li-tigons/li-ligers because it is a hybrid among the hybrids. It is a cross breed between a male tiger and a female liger/tigon or a male lion with a female tigon/liger. Do note that female ligers or tigons are fertile. They are extremely rare and are in mostly private ownership within a behavioural studies programme. In the case of ti-ligers, they have unusual striping where it breaks up and display a blotchy appearance. Since they are 3/4 tiger, their characteristics inhibit more of those of a tiger than a lion.
It seems like in most cases the cross between two different species ends up with an infertile baby where they are unable to reproduce due to the difference in chromosomes that each species have.

Since someone brought up monsters in another post. I thought I would share some "monsters" of my own. Yes there are many others out there that would be monsters, but I thought these should be mentioned as they are probably not thought of first off. NOTE: the pictures are of the animal and not the penis but the info following says how big it gets.
One of the largest penis belongs to not a mammal but to this first animal. It can be bigger than their body by 5-10 times. This animal also MAKES new penises (cause it breaks once in a while hhhmmmmm maybe cause of the size). This animal is none other than the BARNACLE.

Black Pumas have been claimed to be seen around the US but like bigfoot are pretty much a fairy tale.

I live smack in the middle of their territory and after a couple of personal harrowing episodes launched my own investigation to better understand these predators. This time of year especially with dry riverbeds and the deer congregating in the valley for the rut, we see them frequently. (It makes the predawn chores a bit more hair raising) I for one am happy never to see a deer about, and as far as I am concerned Bambi can just move along.
(I started investigating black pumas after one of my clients claimed his father was attacked by one some 70 years ago and he had to help fight it off. I thought it a wives tale, even though he is not one to exaggerate, till further interviews with some old folks about told me of their own experiences. It's still referenced as alive, an urban legend of the region. I thought it to be a jaguar,... but they aren't equipped to deal with the cold winters in this region, nor the frigid ones further to the north where other tales are documented.)
The myth of the Yani Puma,..., lol that's enough to keep one looking over your shoulder here in the wild. That would be one big cat.

The jaguars actually have two main colors. The typical brownish color that people know and the black. if you ever get a chance to see a jaguar with black color, look closely and you will see the same pattern etched into the coat like with the more typical jaguar.
The only true puma out there that is called puma is actually known by several names. Depending on the area you live, this animal can be referred to as puma, mountain lion, american lion, cantamount, painter, and panther. There might even be other names out there that I don't know.

We call them cougars over here in Canada and they are known to be native to the colder, western states to the north of where I live (Alberta, British Columbia).

having spent much time vacationing in the California Sierras, i too have heard tales of the Black Puma. seems like every town up there has somebody who knows somebody who had an encounter with a black puma. returning home after one trip i also did some research and there is no real proof they exist.

A family of 5 came boiling up over the rapids below the pool we were fishing and raided our fishing hole. One chased a trout across the width of the stream,.. the fish leaping from the water trying to escape with the otter on its tail fin. It smacked into a tree on the bank and fell stunned into the otters grasp... the critter gave us a look like.."see this is how it is done" and disappeared.
We spent the next half hour just watching them frolic in our pool. Tried to take a pic but the phone went dead (its a POS and dying)
Fishing was ruined but my charge didn't mind.

Tule Elk.... these are the smallest of the North American Elk, generally 400-700 pounds, much smaller than the Roosevelt and Rocky Mountain species. The size difference is attributed to the terrain they inhabit which is hot and lacking in normal nutrients. They are only found in California, generally in the central valley and western mountains.
They were nearly hunted into extinction in the 1800's... and one of the first breeds put into protection when a mated pair were found in 1870. Most of the herds in existence are descendents of that pair. Their numbers have doubled over the last 20 years and now stand around 4000.

The Blue Dragon Sea Slug: A Cute but Dangerous Sea Creature!
Aside from causing a very painful sting, this gastropod could potentially kill a person, especially those who experience severe allergic reaction to its sting.
Also known as the blue dragon, sea swallow or blue angel, the blue glaucus is a species of brightly colored sea slug (nudibranch), and can be found throughout the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans in temperate and tropical waters.
Glaucus atlanticus is able to swallow the venomous nematocysts from the Portuguese Man o' War, and store them in the extremities of its finger-like cerata. This protects the sea slug from predation. People sometimes pick up these unusual blue sea slugs after they wash up on beaches.
The Blue Dragon's diet consists of hydrozoans, mainly the infamous Portuguese Man o' War. The slugs float in the current until they find one of the jellyfish like animals and then eat the entire structure. It may often resort to cannibalism as well. Due to these, the Blue Glaucus is considered a carnivore.
