Thanks everyone, past and present who has taken part in the story contests so far.
Due to the recent changes in Achat and Forum access, the next contest will be judged differently in the interest of fairness.
I am interested in your views and will outline an idea I have been throwing around with some of you in general chat.
The new judging system :-
1. The stories will be published and after reading them all, chosen select member judges, not taking part in the contest, will put them in order of preference, the favourite being identified as 1 and then placed in order of preference with the least favourite being last. The judges will be identified at the end of the contest and not during the process. (I do not want any bribed with sex LOL )
2. Participating authors will also be asked to take part and do the same and put the stories in order of their preference, the favourite being identified as 1 and then placed in order of preference with their least favourite being last.
3. A public vote will also still occur and voting take place as before so the Forum Village can still participate. This will be considered the “Public Judge” and will also establish the members’ overall order of preference. The one with the most votes will be the favourite story and then the other stories listed in order according to votes cast against the story.
4. The stories will be given points on each list received. The least popular in each list will be given 5 points, the next 10 points and so on in multiples of 5s till the top story has the most points.
5. Once all lists are in, or the deadline for lists to be in has passed, the 3 stories with the most points win and will determine their podium position.
I think this will be a fairer way of the winners being identified in the erotic story contest.
In the coming weeks, I will approach certain members who I believe have the appropriate qualities to be fair and just judges in such a story contest.

To ensure that 3 Story Contests a year can be organised, it is imperative that members get an opportunity to discuss, vote and be involved with the contest’s every step of the way.

I disagree, a theme gives the creator a starting point to work from or something to be manipulated to fit their story.
That being said I propose GROUP - 3some, 4 some, moresomes, whatevs. somewhere in the story must be one group scene

Being the contest ends on Halloween how about a supernatural theme?

I like the idea of the new judging system and hope that independent judges will accept the invite & become involved in the process.
I would like Mind Control to be considered as a theme. It has been suggested before and I think it has very intriguing possibilities.

@Iamincharge : I agree with you. I personnaly wrote already 2 stories and I just found inspiration from my past experience , daily life,... and to be forced to fit in a subject, might be difficult for me.
That being said, I understand it has its advantages to have a subject,...to drive a bit the contest and maybe more easy to judge stories with a same subjects than stories with no subjects in common.
I like the voting system proposed. voted by judges, by your peers and by the public.... nice idea.
If you really need some subjects :
- on Achat... (imagine a stories that happen , at least partially, on achat or linked to a achat users (fake name, no real name please)
OR
- one of the elements
- With water (swimming pool, shower, beach, rain, sauna, ....it must include water element)
- With air (parachute, skydiving,....)
- With fire ( firemen, volcano, ...)
- With earth (no idea so far)
OR
- a new birth for mankind (either a new colony on another planet, or mankind have been mostly eradicated on Earth and just a few survives, we need to repopulate....)

And as for the theme The Story Contest has always had a theme and should keep it. If we lost the theme then there is no consentiency.
We have always had a vote for it but maybe this time get the ideas and let the bott in the square to pick it the first one it picks is the theme.

Judging ideas.
Thanks Tangoracer about your judging ideas to improve the fairness of the voting process. I can see you are as keen as I am to ensure this contest is as fair as we can possibly make it.
I have thought long and hard about using the bot. I have decided against it for the story contest. I want people involved and the bot makes it more clinical.
I do not want to use the robot random draw on this one. I think the "Pachi the bot" is perfect for sweeps and where A$ is involved. It shows transparency and once the players and drivers / contestants known, there are little chance of variables to spoil the process.
The story contest has and will always be about involving our members from start to finish. To inspire our writers ; to encourage others to read and enjoy the stories and to learn or improve descriptive narrative for the game. It helps get people involved, gives confidence and forges new friendships.
I therefore want members to post ideas for the stories ; to vote for the theme they would like our authors to write on and to feel part of the process. It helps me also to encourage new members to join Forum and get involved, and gets members mixing.
The robot is useful for other contests, but in this I think the way to choosing the theme works best by involving our members.

I like the idea that the Author Judges cannot vote for their own story.
I think this is fairer and I will ask Author Judges to put the stories in order of preference, with their favourite story at the top and least favourite at the bottom of the list, omitting their own story from the list.
They can still vote in the public vote however and vote for their own on this occasion if so wished.
The lists from Independent Judges and Author Judges will be sent to me by PM in Forum and within the specified time limitations and I will name one other adjudicator at the time. This is to safeguard the anonimity of authors and the voting process and to ensure no lists are altered after being sent.
I hope you all can see my though processes on this.

I like Patosh's idea of repopulation after a cataclysmic event. New colony though I think is to close to "Out of this World" which we did.
But 2 people or a group fighting for survival in a post-apocalyptic world; I like it.

This is right but I would put it under Opposites attract.
Race - Age - Culture without naming the details just make sure the Story is about to see that the contrast could hardly be starker.
I am not a puplic writer ( my english grammer isnt the best :) but i will sure read them all , so go on writers bring some tasty, inspiring story to the screen :)

Time to vote for a theme for our wonderful authors to create a story for you. Please vote for one of the themes above. Voting ends Friday 15 July 2016.
1. Free Style.
Write any story you wish. Usual rules apply : No under ---- age, no bestiality. It can be a story about anything listed below or any theme used in past story contests or a story that you have always fancied yourself to be written. The world is your oyster to erotically explore and write your literary magic for the enjoyment of your Forum friends and supporters.
2. Group sex. 3 or more persons / orgy.
Again, write any story you wish within the usual rules of no under --- age and no bestiality. Somewhere contained in the story though, it has to contain group sex of at least 3 or more people.
Think of the possibilities... let your naughty mind roam, maybe that hidden deep fantasy of a sex party, or the swinging scene or something in the past like a mass Roman Orgy. It could even be a beach party... who knows... only you can tell it.
3. Halloween, Supernatural, Spooky.
Hehe, A story to send shivers along your spine with this spooky theme. It could be a story of witches or zombies or vampires or werewolves. It could be a story of angels, or gargoyles or a story on another plane to Earthlings.
Maybe a story that is a little scary or maybe an insight into the supernatural world where lust, need and love is just as abundant.
4. Mind Control.
The possibilities in this one are endless. It could be a story of possession, a demon could turn its host into a slut, or maybe someone has a near death experience and suddenly finds they posses mind powers that can control the actions of others, or maybe a good deed or family connection finds someone bequeathed an artefcat that has special powers ... all of course have one thing in common. Someone or something can control the mind of others and maybe encourage them to explore more of their sexual selves or turn them into needy whores or studs...
5. The Elements. Story to include - Earth or Wind / Air or Water or Fire.
This one is an interesting subject. Again write any story you wish, but within the story, it must contain one of the four elements. Did you know that : Earth, Water, Air, and Fire are The Four States of Matter.
The ancient Greeks believed that there were four elements that everything was made up of: earth, water, air, and fire. This theory was suggested around 450 BC, and it was later supported and added to by Aristotle. Aristotle was a Greek philosopher and scientist. As a prolific writer and polymath, Aristotle radically transformed most, if not all, areas of knowledge he touched.
Enough of that though, I digress - The erotic story could contain perhaps a storm or a wild fire or a story with twisters or tornados or maybe a yacht race or a story of farming / growing a much needed food supply. Only you can tell it.
6. New birth for mankind following apocalyptic event.
Another interesting suggestion. A story of hope after a devastating event perhaps. You story would need to include an idea that nearly wipes out the human race - perhaps an Alien invasion or catastrophic disease or climate change or an asteroid collision or nuclear war ... and then the recovery and the sexy and erotic hope of those left behind.
7. Spy / Espionage Story.
Think James Bond, Jason Bourne, Ethan Hunt or their female or transgender equivalent. Sexy, clever spies who's mission is to save the world.
Along the way they meet a sexy partner and use their license to thrill with very successful results.
Or maybe a clever industrial espionage where opponents trying to get their product out first, try to outwit each other but the sexual pull it far too strong to resist.
8. Contest Manager's Staring out to sea pic
I like this one. The pic of the lone figure (gender unknown) staring out to sea is contemplating and thoughtful. What is he or she remembering? Good times? Bad times? Thoughts of regret or wonder? Only you can tell but within the story has to be at least one encounter of hot lust or sensual love. Tell us what this person is thinking and bring the character to life in your words.
9. Interracial - Different race / tribe / skin colour
This is an interesting concept. It can be a love story against prejudice that prevails against all the odds, past, present or in the future. It can be a story of skin colour - African / Asian / Whites / Black or of different tribes and race. The hot couple concerned can be in love or in lust. The story has to include an interracial element... maybe a past story of slavery or maybe a present cuckold story with a BBC (Big Black Cock) Bull.
10. Opposites attract - Black / white ; Vanilla / Dominants ; Cop / robber ...
This almost overlaps the previous theme idea and can include an interracial theme. It opens up the theme into a wider expanse however. The story should include and element of opposites that are attracted to each other. It could be skin colour such as black and white ; Chinese and Asian but can also be of sexual kinks such as Vanilla and BDSM or a story of good versus evil, or Cop & Robber or Cowboy & Indian or maybe an opposing sporting team that have naughty forbidden lust or love together...
Remember any of the stories can be set in the past, the present or the future. If one of the above fires your imagination, then please vote. Voting ends Friday 15 July 2016.

Opposites attract... would robot and human fit into this category? I hope so, it would give me the chance to complete the Eva Trilogy.
And it would be no worries to the rest of the authors, as the Eva stories only garner a few votes. Could be because I write them to be my definition of erotic, and not pornographic. Not that there's anything wrong with pornographic stories.

To fit the rules, the achat component needs to be a room, or an outfit or a background to cleverly slip into the story and described in enough detail for the reader to recognise.
They are fun to hide in the story and fun to find.
Here is one of the best examples I have :)
Jayc's Adraste's Gift in Contest 6. Although you only need one component, the way he incorporates 3 - the Skeletons ; Flaming Skull and Flaming dragon backgrounds is quite ingenious. He has great inventive skill and imagination. See the below quote.

I have 9 stories that have been entered in the Erotic Story Contest. Thank you all so much for entering.
May I personally thank each and every one of you for your help and support for making the deadline of Erotic Story Contest 12. Your contributions make it the success it is.

Every vote is important, it shows the authors you really do care for their efforts and that their stories are very much appreciated.
We are also trying a new Judging System for the first time.
We will have the public vote ( Judge 1 ) where every Forum member can vote ;
9 Author Judges ( Judges 2 to 10 ) who will be revealed at the end of the contest when it is revealed who wrote what along with the winners and
Secret Independent Judges who will also judge their favourite stories.
Their identities will be revealed at the end of the contest if they wish but will be known to the Forum Moderators in any case who can act as adjudicators and ensure their judging is authentic.

There is an anomaly with the Author Judges, I have therefore, had to make a slight amendment in their rules. Please see below:
Due to the recent changes in Achat and Forum access, the new story contests, starting with Erotic Story Contest 12 - Opposites Attract - will be judged differently in the interest of fairness.
The new judging system :-
1. The stories will be published by the Contest Manager and therefore anonymous whilst the voting and judging process is ongoing. After reading them all, chosen select member judges, not taking part in the contest, will put them in order of preference, the favourite being identified as 1 and then placed in order of preference with the least favourite being last. The judges will be identified at the end of the contest and not during the process. (I do not want any bribed with sex LOL ) These will be known as INDEPENDENT JUDGES.
2. Participating authors will also be asked to take part and do the same and put the stories in order of their preference, the favourite being identified as 1 and then placed in order of preference with their least favourite being last. These will be known as AUTHOR JUDGES & WILL NOT be able to vote for their own story.
Of course to counteract any author who decides not to vote for tactical reasons, each judging author will be awarded 30 points for their story. This is because author's choosing not to vote would receive points from other participating Author Judges and yet not give any out to competing stories which is obviously not fair and the ones not voting would gain an advantage. AUTHOR JUDGES WILL GET 30 POINTS FOR THEIR STORY. THOSE WHO CHOOSE NOT TO JUDGE WILL NOT BE AWARDED ANY POINTS.
3. A public vote will also still occur and voting take place as before so the Forum Village can still participate. This will be considered the “Public Judge” and will also establish the members’ overall order of preference. The one with the most votes will be the favourite story and then the other stories listed in order according to votes cast against the story.
4. The stories will be given points on each list received. The least popular in each list will be given 5 points, the next 10 points and so on in multiples of 5s till the top story has the most points.
5. Once all lists are in, or the deadline for lists to be in has passed, the 3 stories with the most points win and will determine their podium position.
I think this will be a fairer way of the winners being identified in the erotic story contest.
In the coming weeks, I will approach certain members who I believe have the appropriate qualities to be fair and just judges in such a story contest.

Summary of the Erotic Story Contest 12 - Opposite Attractive

Here is my little summary for each story.
1. Infatuation.
Opposite: East & West.
Included component: Red knit sleeveless dress also the long sleeved white midriff top.
A New York author meets an interesting Californian woman at her book signing. Attraction blooms against the odds that leads to a very hot encounter. Could this be the one? Could this be love? Well written and hot loving.
2. Hide & Prejudice.
Opposite: Fat & Slim.
Included Components: The sexy women’s tight pink sweater that hugs the breasts with central buttons from the neck to the central cleavage, 3 of which gape open.
A slim, fit muscular man admires and fantasises about a chubby, voluptuous girl at work. He is ecstatic when she finally makes the first move and invites herself to his place. His friends at work can’t believe he would even consider seeing such a big girl but he knows what he wants and enjoys every minute of their searing hot date. An interesting title and a play on words of the famous book - Pride & Prejudice. It fits perfectly.
3. Office Discipline.
Opposite: Older & Younger.
Included Components: Royal blue secretary costume with white shirt. Black mascara running eye make-up.
A mature lawyer supervises her office of trainee solicitors with a hard-nosed bitchiness that quietly annoys. One day she pushes one of her gifted, younger trainees a little too far. He confidently takes charge of his supervisor, uses a touch of mind control to strengthen her reluctant submissive nature and to help force it to the forefront of her behaviour. They discover a side of her that likes pleasurable pain that has been dormant for far too long. Well written, exciting and a subject not yet covered in an erotic story contest.
4. A Cuckold at Crystal Lake.
Opposite: Single & Married.
Included Components: Yacht / Boat Room.
A single white man sees an advert to be a bull male for an Asian married couple who want to spice up their marriage. He makes contact and this results in their first date. It contains a sexy pussy shave and hot, horny sex. Is it the start of a wonderful, consensual marriage of three where the husband becomes cuckold and the wife becomes another man’s fuck toy? Again, it’s well written, exciting and a subject not yet covered in an erotic story contest.
5. The Breaking in of a Pleasure Slave Girl.
Opposite: Modern & Traditional.
Included Components: Mediterranean type terrace room (attached to the hotel room)
A hardworking German adult female family decide to take a well- earned holiday in the Middle East where traditional and modern cultures thrive. Grandmother, mother & daughter enjoy the luxury of the hotel and exciting excursions ahead. Except on the way to one of their planned excursion the 3 women are kidnapped, separated, sold and find themselves the subject of slaves to serve and be used by traditional Arabic Masters. The story is hard hitting, holds no bars and is shocking. Its written well, leaves the reader possibly shaken, wanting more and curious as to the welfare of all the woman in the story. A good foundation for a trilogy.
6. The Hot Winter Night
Opposite: Switch & Dominant.
Included Components: sexy blouse, in blue, gold love necklace, cabin in the woods, lover's siesta.
A married couple who have been separated for a while come together in a mix of fantasy and reality. She is a switch, although it's been a while as he is dominant. Her actions range from obedient to controlling. He excites his wife in a mixture of dominating her and allowing her to explore her stronger sexuality in an explosive night of need and climax. It is hot, well written and believable where readers can easily identify with such a strong and loving relationship.
7. Camille’s Journal
Opposite: Romantic & Dominant.

Congratulations Andrea...your story was really awesome and definately deserved to win that contest, it was my favourite story as well. I have to admit, I never expected YOU to be the author of that wonderful story, that it's you is really a surprise, thinking of your, lets call it dominant way of life. ;)
Now I can reveal that I was one of the judges, I was #24. I wrote a text describing and explaining my opinion, how and why I voted the way I did, some words to every story, and forwarded that to Brandybee together with my list some days ago, a bit delayed due to...personal reasons. As Brandybee explained, if any of the authors is interested in reading that feedback, I'll gladly share it via personal message.

Congratulations to ALL Writers for sharing your imagination and taking your valuable time to put it to story. Like Laura, I too had the honor of being a contest judge, I am JUDGE # 21. Of course I knew Andrea's story, so even though I thought she had "one" of the best story's, I could not bring myself to vote it into 1st place. So I am glad I had lots of other very talented writers to choose from for another winner. Thanks to JAYC and his Ruby's Big Wager I found a story and writing worthy of a winner. The rest were so difficult to put into order, I enjoyed the writing, while some stories turned me off. My own personal prejudices revealed.
