Hi

You nearly have it...

To find the http address or url of the pic...  click on the pic to enlarge it. If it does not enlarge no worries. Right click on the pic or gif and it will give you a drop down menu. Choose  "Copy image address"  This will copy it for you.


https://i.imgur.com/LOG0V1Y.jpg    (Note the .jpg ending which indicates its an image.)

https://i.imgur.com/OBlSJ1A.mp4  (Note the .mp4 ending which indicates its a video) 

Then go to forum and to your topic or PM reply box. Click on the "Insert image"  Square 2 above the smiley faces. This will insert the image code into your text box.

Paste (Ctrl+V)  your url / http address in between the brackets.

Then click preview underneath your text box and the pic should show above it.  This way, you don't have to post first to see.

This forum can do gifs if already coded. It wont do videos  or you tube.  We all tend to post the page reference as you have and colour it,  like so

This way members  can highlight your link reference,  right click and choose the "Go to ..... "  option from the drop down menu, straight to the video, Gif or song you have indicated.  Alternatively,  they can just copy (ctrl+c) and paste (ctrl+V) it straight into their browser to find it that way.


In your post you have copied the page where the pic is, not the http address of the actual pic.  As it is a video, just colour the link above.

This next one is also a page leading to the pic. You need to click on the pic to obtain the http address a above. The pic will end in .jpg

To resize - add the code in the first bracket.  [img width=300     or    [img height=300

If you click quote on this post, it will show you the written codes in the text box between the "quote" marks so you can see it all
If you click preview, it will show you how it will post or publish in the public topic with the pics and coloured text  above the text box.
Do not post though, unless you wish it all to become a public post.
Using those buttons are a good way to see how things work and practice without going public.

LOL yes that is the way I best do it waiting for an offer of employment from Applefit :)
