Corina_33, you seem to be making this into some kind of competition and causing hostility when there is none.
Stop it.
I have asked you nicely in PM. I have asked you nicely in the meeting place & now I am asking you publicly.
You have approached and attacked us and my friends several times with silly and hostile comments, even as recent as yesterday. We have ignored it long enough and turned the other cheek. There comes a point where people get fed up of being pushed.
You do the same in forum where you poke into things that have nothing to do with you or deliberately misunderstand topics and post or say silly taunting comments. Above is a fine example.

Its not a sports event! It's not a competition! Its not a war! We are not interested in feeding any hostilities.
Congratulations on your event I am really pleased you got 15 people to partake in your event.
I feel I have to point out you were in black standing on your own, when my friends and I came into the room, and this then seemed to spur you into action! Why? I have no idea.. we were just enjoying ourselves and our room.
You then decided to walk passed us, make some unsavoury comments to get attention and then proceed to ask a mutual line of friends to take part in dressing up in black.
These are nice people and always up for something different happening and is no surprise at your request would change what they were wearing.
The event that is arranged on Red Friday which you seem to be referring to in this topic took place throughout the day, over different people's time zones. Quite a few people took part, not just in Amsterdam and not just in VL, Some even just changed their profiles in the lobby and others were in other public rooms. Some wore red in RL too.
This event was and is to support the military away from their families and homes. Red is the acronym for REMEMBER EVERYONE DEPLOYED
It is in support of the military overseas, quite a noble cause and shows we recognise and appreciate their sacrifices.
Contrary to what you believe, it is not an event organised by Jess & myself who you seem to be targeting... we just posted it in Forum to help the cause. This event was the idea of another.
We would gladly have supported your event too and helped with pics and posters, if you had wanted, just not on a Friday as it is already used for Red Friday.

Because we were attacked by people like you and I was not going to allow Drama to take over Forum, put people off joining or posting or spoil topics that fed their personal vendettas, I shut my topics and ordered Jess to do the same.
A time out was needed and I have no qualms doing it again if warranted.
I am glad you have returned to Forum, after a short break and am glad you are organising events. I hope you do more.
Keep the hostilities out of it. Forum is a friendly place. Lets keep it that way.

It is true there was a Pantiless Friday way back but as far as I know, no one takes part in that anymore unlike Topless Tuesday.
Red Friday was before your event, its as simple as that. If your Black Friday had started first, then out of respect for your event, of course we would not have advertised Red Friday and most likely chosen another day.
But it wasn't, Red Friday was first and you coming back to forum, trying to now cause a war over it, with name calling, trashing the topic, insulting people and now opening this topic to continue it all.. is ridiculous.
You just cause bad feeling.

Its not about who owns the day, its about common courtesy and the OP trashing the other topic and then the event, and making it into a war.
She deliberately organised Black Friday, after seeing the RED Friday event.
Compromise can always be found but Corinna has deliberately made this a them and us scenario, involving others in her own little vendetta.
There is no need for such animosity, nor her nasty little comments, nor her attacks in the game and now in forum. There is no need to have the event on the same day... we could actually support each other.
I'm sure if Corinna had her Black Friday first and then another event was organised at the same time, she would make big objections too.
But she didn't and has purposefully clashed her event with RED Friday.
Its a shame really but such is Achat life.

Tift: You are absolutely correct. Just as PriPri can have her Red Friday. If Corina chose another day we would support as we always have supported the events you held. THAT is the point that V was making to her. We cannot do both.
We did not start this little "war". She did.
We did NOT attack. She did.
She has not had a Black Friday event since December. We were not even aware of it.
She farts and burps and drops insults at us on forum and in game.
We do NOT approach her.
She approaches us. Each and every time.

I am sure all of the VETS on Achat are happy to see how much value she places on their service. To not take part is one thing. To insult it is another.

It seems a certain person - Corina_33 - who keeps leaving and then re-joining Forum is persistent in making trouble and to derail an event that has nothing to do with her…
WHY? Because she has a personal vendetta about the people who have posted this topic, namely me and my spouse and to hell with anyone else who gets hurt or insulted along the way.
So we feel we have to dispel some of the rubbish she is spreading…
Why the vendetta? Who knows… The first time we became aware of this player was when she attacked and bullied mutual friends to back up others doing the same. Her posts were similar, if not the same, to ones you see in forum now. You can see many over several different topics.
She was hostile towards us after being influenced by these same associates she joined with to gang up on the other players. We objected to the bullying behaviour.
As it was in my topic, of course I asked it to stop and since then this player has done everything in her power to spoil play for us, insult us, our friends, and spread ridiculous lies and accusations.
Normally I would not care of her silliness, or her pettiness and some of her antics really are funny except after it goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on.. it goes from funny, to rolling eyes to… not funny now, it’s just annoying! And again so be it… we always have the ignore button but …
She moves it a notch higher to get reactions… now she involves others. She returns to Forum to start a war.
She sees we have an event going on… It doesn’t matter if it’s someone else’s… it doesn’t matter that it’s just in recognition for soldiers posted away from home… What matters is it’s started by the people she wants to annoy because, it’s not working in the game…
First, she tried to derail it with objecting to the colour Red… she wanted RED as her idea and wanted to say you stole my idea!
But that fell down when her event was way back in December 2020 and one was called Scarlet Sunday.
Nothing had been done there for months… at least not in Forum.
We explained several times what it was about, tried to compromise and asked her to join in and we would help her with another day.
That offer still stands and to make posters & even to teach her how to post pics in Forum instead of having to ask others all the time.
This just infuriated her more, she began silly name calling & using bodily functions as insults.
Though farting at us is funny at times. Farting in public can be amusing but like everything else… too much of a good ...or smelly thing... can also be annoying. So her next plan to annoy us was to have an event at the same time…!
We asked her to change the day so we could support her event and so everyone can support both and have fun.
But NO that can’t happen. And having the event at the same time is not enough for her!
She decides to make it..a them and us war, insult the RED day and turn the RED day for overseas soldiers political.
That’s just one crappy lie too many…
SOLDIERS SERVING AWAY FROM HOME IS NOT POLITICAL. IT’S JUST SAYING THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE. COME HOME SAFE. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT MILITARY THEY SERVE WITH. THEY DON’T HAVE TO BE FIGHTING A WAR AND THEY DON’T HAVE TO BE KEEPING THE PEACE IN A WAR TORN COUNTRY. THEY COULD BE HELPING THE PEOPLE WTH THE COVID PANDEMIC. THEY JUST NEED TO BE POSTED AWAY FROM HOME & LOVED ONES. SUPPORTERS WANT THEM TO KNOW THEY ARE MISSED BY FAMILY & FRIENDS AND APPRECIATeD BY THE COUNTRY THEY SERVE.
This player puts us on ignore in Forum and locks her topics, so she can post insults, silly propaganda and then run, supported behind the scenes by the same “gang” as before.
That’s amusing as we have never attacked anyone, nor pestered, nor harassed anyone.
Jess and I have only ever reacted to insults or accusations thrown at us and corrected misrepresentations. Mostly we let it ride though. Now I don’t. Now I have zero tolerance.
No one has to agree with the cause of RED, you can take part to support their service if you want, or even wear red just for fun and something different to do.
You don’t have to wear full red either…. you can just wear one item of red. A shirt, a dress, a skirt. The other colours can match or clash. The choice is yours.
So we can make yet another attempt to stop this silliness and still have fun here, those who will or wish to take part… thank you.
Wear Red and black if you wish. Whatever you decide.., it’s just a fun day. Jess & I won’t play this silly “War Game”
