I know it is not a new idea, but it is still a good idea and I thought it needed somew attention. Diffrent rooms available for play. The room now is situated somewhere and they could expand the available settings. Like a livingroom, kitchen, bathroom, with according poses to match. Showering or bath play in the bathroom, sitting poses in the livingroom, countertop positions for the kitchen, etc. etc. Or a beach, forest, castle, car, etc. etc. Wondering how you would vote and wanting the subject brought to the attention of the developers.

As you say it's not a new idea, but a very good. I support new rooms, locations and also new furniture like chairs, sofa, table...
And (as we're talking in another thread) what about a plane? A boat, train..
What about a caravan? I'm surprise you don't suggest it my Dutch friend :D
-
Since you are asking for it:
A tulip field in full bloom
on a dike near a windmill
in a haystack, just wearing wooden shoes
Between maturing cheeses
In the dunes near the sea
Satisfied my German friend? ;)

Great ideas, but just new setting with the same poses would be great start. I could distract a guy as he's watching football or some other sport in a most kinky way if there was a living room setting.
-
Keeping it simple just because it would be more likely to happen, and due to recognition, exiting poses unlikely to recreated just for one particular scene,...
An outdoor scene with blanket and picnic table
Backyard,...with a large lounger and chairs,...
An office,...activities on the desk
Hospital room

@ Tight:
Sure :D. Though I'm missing "Frikandel spezial", I could die for it. Don't know if there is an english term for it.
It's a thin sausage and "special" means there is a cut in the middle. There it is filled with ketchup, mayonnaise and onions. Did I forget anything Tight?
@ Bear:
Keep it simple is ok. But we are allowed to dream and to ask for it; the developers have to decide if it's possible ;)
-
@Lover Nope, didn't miss a thing... Maybe only to mention it's deep fried...
-
Yeah, I'm the FF vote. :P
That said I think the first new room they could make would be a dungeon. They already seem to be branching into BDSM and that would be a wonderful step as well as a great way to draw users attention to the idea, and possibly drum up interest.

I was kinda thinking about the obvious rooms first, living room, kitchen etc. because people would be able to relate to them easiest. These rooms would ofcourse cost us A$, I would pay for them gladly and maybe making some rooms that sell easy might be a good first step. Maybe a few rooms could be free if your a premium.
Just some new themes for the room we already have would be good too, sure a whole new room would be more exciting but some new themes would be nice. There are just 3 now and they get abit stale after a while, they could make a BDSM theme, pink girly theme... and more.
Having said that... a dungeon, yes please. ;D :P
-
I mainly propose the dungeon idea as it would be a radical environment change. Most others are variations on a theme. Say laying on a couch rather then a bed.
A dungeon would be a whole other world.
-
Yes small changes, but it would still bring some colour into things.
-
And, as I see it, not as complicated as making a new pose. Very helpful for the imaginative amongst us...

Janine
Yeah, I'm the FF vote. Tongue
You did it? Wow, I'm really, really surprised ;)
@ Adera Maybe a few rooms could be free if your a premium.
Yes Yes Yes
Also agree with Tight, it should not be complicated as we already can change the background.
-
Actually I think we might motivate them faster if we say we'll play the A$ to BUY new rooms, and I'm not even being snarky there. Money motivates.
-
Well I would pay for it.
-
If the price is right, I would pay too... Otherwise I'll make due with my imagination... (so make it affordable!)
-
Yeah, if the locations are well done I also would pay for them.
-
Definitely would pay for room variations,..liked the Dungeon idea,..appeals to the darker side of me which sometimes filters through
@Lover indeed think big...without restraint...reminds me of a quote "There are no rules of architecture for a castle in the clouds"
-
Leaves me with one question though. In the current situation, each player chooses their own room-settings. Location of the bed are similar, so that gives no problems for going into a room. Each player can have their own, preferred room. For more complicated settings, where the positions are made for the setting (like kitchen-top, shower, jaccuzi?), all participants would have to choose the same background, in order for all positions to work.
Where setting are more or less the same as the current ones (the position of the bed key in my opinion), they can be easily applied. For more intrigate and comlex settings, they might have to figure out a way for offering one environment for 2 or 3 players.
-
If I invite someone they see the room I have choosen and if I accept an invite I see the room he/she has choosen, thats how it works now so it could work like that with new rooms aswell.
-
:) Thanks! I didn't know that yet....
-
Is it? thought it was whatever you had set was what you saw. I tend to ask which preference.
@Tight there are some obvious issues there,...even in the current format I would like to see a preference of location,..I,...*coughs.. don't always make it to a bed in my imagination, even a small option icon of location for current rooms would help,...bed, table,..floor something that the partners both need to agree on.
-
@Bear
Don't forget the wall. :P
-
And as far as rooms that have special options it could be like positions... where one just has to have it for all to have it available in room.
-
I've been to a couple of places that the room settings were all different........ and the same poses worked fine in different settings...... the key is to set the "height" for the different poses to match the new furnishings....... in other words....... a bed have the same height as a sofa..... all tables the same height..... ect ect....... this way...... the poses for one room.... would fit another......... granted....... if you add counter tops ... then new poses would have to be developed...... but I think you see where im going with this.....
-
I made similar points at one point. A "bed" doesn't have to be a bed, it could be a couch. Or the "table" that people could be bent over could be a desk. Here were also including the ideas of things like the counters, which would admittedly be more complex.

This all is no problem. It's just a question of placing the equipment and the correct settings with the avatars. It's possible in other games so it's possible in AChat.
BUT if you use different rooms/equipment there has to be one real member that makes the decision. This could be the one who is inviting or if you have premium and free member it could be the premium one (he is the one to buy the equipments/rooms).
