Well, I read a topic on this, so I decided to turn it into a poll

Think you need to expand the question as to what you mean by giftable objects.

Ah, good point Bear, thank you. There's another thread out there that they were discussing things like stuffed animals that girls can hold in their character editor poses, but they can only get those animals from gifts (cannot be bought in shop directly).
And it doesn't have to be limited to just stuffed animals. There could be flowers, special "gift only" clothing (for example something like the french maid outfit) but girls can't buy it, someone has to send it to them as a gift.
This takes out the A$ exchange to some degree.

ah thanks for expanding that idea Apollo,.. I agree whole heartedly that special gifts would be a nice touch,..the only issue though is that you my be gifting an item already in their possession.. say that french maid outfit... that would require some additional filters..a warning that the outfit is already in possession of the recipient... otherwise a waste of of scrip.

I thought about personal gifts - something like an e-card, flowers with an own note, a card/letter with your own notes...
That could be a benefit for a real friend, which a whore does not have.
On the other hand, to give money to a friend can help them to purchase items in the shop - heavy decision. Perhaps both possibilities?

Was going to start another thread but thought i would stick it in here...Fucking raging at the moment, There i am chatting to someone and then off some-one else i get a message along the lines of "Hi baby you want a good fuck,Send me a gift and i can be yours".....My answer "No thank you i have no need too"...Then let the abuse fly she give it to me with both barrels "fuck you,Fuck this etc" And by the time i had a chance to answer back i am on her ignore list...WHAT THE FUCK ???...Everyone i speak to on here i am polite with (Well till we get in a room lol but that's another story) and i answer everyone back even if its a polite no.Been on here now for about 4 month or so and that's the first time i have had that level of abuse hurled at me ..........THE BITCH LOL :-\ :-\

@ Hardbody I`ve been going on almost 2 years here , and had alot flown at me some very disturbing ! But still dont have anyone one my ignore list .

@ Hardbody In the time I have been here, I have developed a thick skin. I let most of the insults slide off my back. I have had experiences like you have, Hardbody. There's jerks everywhere. I recently was completely burnt down to the ground by someone I thought I had a good contact with. Out of the blue she wished me all kinds of diseases, etc. Unlike Sunny, she's on my ignore list.
Due to the open character of AChat, there's no avoiding these types, no matter what you put in your banner or how polite you are. I too try to answer everyone, usually explaining i am too busy. But occasionally I don't reply because I can guess what the next line will be.
I hope that, besides this ugly display of distaste, you will have great times and encounters with the very sweet people that hang around achat as well..

when they actually approach me asking for a gift instead of it just being some hooker in disguise i usually go "FUCK YOU BITCH" and ignore them first

allowing prostitution doesnt make them more money, because A$ is only bought once. I think it decreases the amount of A$ bought because you have people like me who are going to quit when their shit runs out because they dont see the point in playing when it takes a giant amount of effort just to FIND the girls who arent whoring themselves out for A$. i can always log on to my female avatar and see the new positions so I dont need to keep buying them

They won't ban it. Hell, I doubt they'll even change the existing format. They don't have to. They created it the way they wanted to and we keep paying (most of us) for service here....so either deal with it or stop coming back. The only true way for them to realize it is that big of an issue is to stop spending real $ and boycott, but even then, I doubt they'd care or notice.
