Hi, new to the forums but definitely not new to AChat, been around roughly a year or so now.
And while I've briefly browsed through the forum from time to time. I haven't until recently (secret valentine thread) posted in here.

So figured I'd come on here and say G'day (Kiwi slang for hello, for anyone scratching their head... short form for Good day I guess.)
Hoping to meet some new folk on here, maybe make a friend or two.

I've a fairly eclectic taste in music, everything from jazz (acid jazz, chillout etc), rock & hard rock, metal, Drum & Bass (and Jungle to a degree), trance & finally house music.
I am also avid reader and mostly read science fiction and heroic/dark fantasy. I also enjoy films and television series that are either of the previous genres (though I'm equally a fan of action and war flicks, sometimes the odd comedy flick/t.v. series.)
I'm also a avid/"hardcore" gamer (and ironically in turn studying certain subjects at the moment that might allow me to get into the gaming industry.)

@Cheya: And I'm glad I'm not alone in my Science Fiction fandom on 'ere. Though my interests run the gamut, from Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate SG-1 & Atlantis,  Babylon 5 (probably my most favorite of them all),  Space Above and Beyond (a sad example of a brilliant sci fi show being canned) and last but certainly not least Firefly (much like SAaB, another incredibly sad example of a brilliant show being canned.)
There's probably one or two other's I've missed too.

Anyway, thanks again 

Awesome  , i used to do some tv evenings with friends and we were watching stargate & (atlantis) as well as deep space nine a lot! Glad you know firefly as well, thats probably my favorite scifi series so far *sigh*, why did they cancel it after the first season  .. nathan fillion was sooo hot  .
