An historic figure passed away today  in  Great Britain ...  Baroness Margaret Thatcher.

She was our first  & only Woman  Prime Minister.    She was a true leader  and patriot and spoke with passion and love of her country.

She wasn't frightened about standing up against adversity, and what she believed was right. She wasn't frightened about making enemies and  also survived attempts on her life.    She shaped the politics in our country. The Lady wasn't for turning 

Love her or hate her, she was a true leader amongst men and an inspiration to all women.

Rest in Peace Ma'am and join your beloved Dennis once more.   You are a Great Briton and will  be remembered in our history books.  You served your country well.

Here she was called the iron Lady. I give my respect for her work and for all what she did. At least she had a good old age. Now there is a female leader in heaven.

Here in France she was called "La dame de fer" like say Lover "Iron lady"

Well put Brandybee she was without doubt the greatest prime minister of my lifetime and I am sickened by all the insults that have been thrown around since the news of her passing broke.

Iron Lady is an understatement, she was elected in the worst of times for the UK and turned the nation around. been hearing audio clips from some of her speeches and they as relevant today as when she spoke the words many years ago. the world needs more straight talking leaders like her now more the ever

Margaret Thatcher was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1979 to 1990. 

She was indeed a leader amongst leaders in the UK  & well respected overseas.

In her time in office,  she made harsh decisions  and would not bow down to terrorists nor trade unions .  She always made decisions that she thought were best for the country as a whole.

She was a strong leader  and of course in maintaining this strength made enemies.  But even her enemies had to acknowledge the Iron Lady's resolve, her patriotism  and her love for her country.

Our nation will pay our respects  on Wednesday 17  March 2013  in a funeral befitting of your status in our  history at St Paul's Cathedral in London .Our Royal family will be in attendance too.

  The streets of London no doubt filled with mourners and sadly protesters alike.

Personally  I always feel,  protesters at someone's funeral to be of bad taste ....   Surely it is more poignant  to stay away.   

She was an extraordinary lady and achieved  much in her life time, even coining the phrases Thatcherism. And The Thatcher Years.

Rest in everlasting peace Baroness Thatcher.  God Bless and keep you safe in His care.
