I'm not surprised to find liers on AChat. Probably, they act the same way in her real life, so....what's the difference for them!?

So true Jinger, oce the lies begin they just continue to grow and life gets mired deeper and deeper in deceit. eventualy the whole web of deciet will crasj to the groun  and  you will have lost the  only thing that holds a relationship together, "TRUST" which if you have any real feelings  for the person  you become the loser.

i think the real question is  why tho
people are so dissatisfied with their  real lives  that they use escapism to feeel good about themself

whats needed  is to look at themselves  and  love themselves cause no one ncan love you untill you love yopurself

We have to differ. When is it still just keeping and protecting our private life, when is it lying.
Most here don't talk about their RL for good reasons. It's the same as you don't tell everything to a stranger you meet in real. I accept this.

For me, it's starting when you tell (bad) stories ABOUT your life or when you tell untrue things about other members or when you lie to hurt other people. Or when you, instead of telling the truth, are silent to those who love you. Maybe it's not a lie, but playing with feelings - something I hate.


I agree with what has been said before: Only if you love and accept yourself, you can accept and love others.

@jinger: Right. All rp games offer the chance, to be someone else - better, stronger, more beautiful... it's not good or bad. It may help us, to become the person we want to be (eg becoming more self-confident) but if we lose ourself in this fantasy, we start telling lies. Firts a little one, but then we have to lie more and more, just to "protect" our first one.

And, of course, here are the same people there are in life - those who are born liars, not able to be honest. It's sad but it's more sad for them then to us.

No need to talk about his real life to be oneself in the game.
But sometimes we are forced!
I have friends who know me in real and others not, and all are great, now I have 10 no more who I really trust 
This is a game and everyone plays as he pleases but some are crappy specialists 
The majority are honest, I let the others play together 

And for the différents accounts it's another history that I don't understand, they need to see a doctor... a specialist 

Y'all are making me really apprehensive about even talking to people here. I have run into two creepy nuts so far and blocked them both. Maybe ignorance is bliss....

  Yep Jen.  I'm a Guy Behind Zu. Or Zuz,  Zuzu  or Zuza sometime ZuzzyKins. I'm called a lot of different things   

  But as to being a different person.  Well I'm still me, (I try to be nice to everyone) my personality, sense of humour and Morals are the same.  I think the only thing about me that is different in here is that I'm a little more outspoken and open to others. Especially with certain friends/lovers that I have had the Amazing Fortune to meet.   

  ACHAT has been an escape for me as well over the last Five Months since I've started, I've Laughed (and Cried) and been Happy More than ever since I started here.

  As to the liars I don't know if I have ever met any or roomed with a Girl who was a Guy behind her.  How can you tell the difference ?

  But what I think is wrong is people who try to sell photos for ACHAT $.  These people I think are breaking the TOS.  No one I think advertises it on their Avi's page anymore but, I have seen someone trying to do so in the poker.
