Is there any way to hide your friends and lovers completely? I never felt a need for it before, but now it seems to be some kind of new way for the real cool members to hackle other members by sending messages telling me i am a loser since i have so few friends and lovers. NOT funny.

You can do this by either  clicking on  "Support"  and filling out the message box.   

or

By clicking on the " ! " (Exclamation Mark ) in your chat box  next to the square "Toggle Chat History" box.  This will open up a box to report your complaint in the game.
It is against  TOS  ( Agreed Terms of Service ) for members to harass another player.

Follow the above instructions and dont forget the ignore button,  life is too short to mince words with idiots. And i always looked at it like this, its not the quantity of friends  thats important, it the quality that counts

And secondly: they were not my friends.

I hide some just to spare them of the idiots who feel it necessary to harass folks who don't like me.

Apparently some don't, but if your friends take notice of these idiots, were they the friends you thought they were?
You and they can use the ignore button quite easily.

I don't hide mine but that's my personal choice.   Way I see it, I'm not anyone's shameful secret. 

If all they do, is send vindictive messages to your lists, that's an awful lot of wasted energy out of a room.  Takes all but a few seconds  to report them to Achat,  another second to delete and let them stay in their unhappy world.
Another second to ignore.

And, just so you know, I have been the victim of such silly idiots on a number of occasions.  They never win or achieve anything except to show they are nasty and spiteful.

Some people are only happy if they can annoy other people. Don't pay attention to them - ignore their messages and put them on ignore, so they can't send you any further pms.
If you think you have to hide your friends, tell them (they have to accept a secret friendship) and also the reason. Just make sure, you want to runaway from those idiots instead of telling them you have real friends - it's better to have just a few real friends instead of 100 people you never talk to.

It is easy to say not to take any notice of these idiots. But a-caht is not a very friendly place, as I regard it. Very many ladies are really badass, and seem to get something out of being rude when you try to have a nice and polite chat. Yes, I am a sensitive person. Perhaps too sensitive for this world, and probably way to sensitive for this chat site.
Don´t get me wrong in this one, I know that men are rude too. But since I don´t chat with them, I don´t have to experience that.
And when I had a bad and frustrating evening and start feeling real down, those idiot harassments really get to me.
So until people in this world find out that this would be a much better place if we were nice to each other, I would really appreciate to have the option to hide all my friends at once, instead of  deleting them and re-friending them.

Well I dont know about this forum but in the chat there is a great amount of cold hearted bitches ignoring you, being rude when you try to be polite putting you on ignore list right in the middle of a perfectly polite chat and the likes. So where are those friends and nice ppl?
