Chuckles,  I know you are competitive.

The point spread levels the playing field, making betting on either the favourite or the underdog equally attractive.
Either the favourite has to win by the margin listed, or the underdog has a buffer to lose the game by that margin, or win it outright.

Your team is too strong not to insist on the pity points, otherwise, I may just dress up as you request on your whim.

The gambling capitol, Las Vegas Oddmakers set the pity points for each team. Its a fair system and independent of the wager makers :)
Jayc has published the point spread.

My team is clearly the underdog by 9 points.  I have to insist on a level playing field and the 9 point request. Otherwise its like a
