I beg to differ.
I do not behave the way I do because of anyone. I do it because of myself. Yeah, freaking selfish as I am.
There is a nice word I'd like to quote: "I don't act like a lady because you are a lady or a gent. I do because I am." I think you get the point.
Whoever likes jump-and-run games banging like rabbits, welcome. I am not into it at all. I'd rather like to share intimate moments than watching cartoon porn. But again, that's just me. If everyone involved is fine with it, everything goes.
But to me it is a matter of respect. Though I don't care much about who you are, I care about what you are. Certainly a human being if you type, right? And as such you deserve the same amount of respect as if I'd meet you in person. (At last until you prove different.)
And the same respect I postulate for myself. So the quickest way on my ignore list is to address me something like: "Hi BB, fuck?" or same worse a cold.
To wrap it up - a civil manner to me is neither a burden nor tragical. It is the glue to build relations. And for my understanding a civil and polite person is not only a gift to others, but honors itself. So whoever likes to behave like a bonobo in the zoo, have fun.
Just keep out of my way.
Or to give another quote: "Truly powerful women don't explain why they want respect. They simply don't engage those who don't give it to them."
