Just kick the bloody sign over or widdle on it or summink Kait...it's a leftover from the previous tenants...nothing to do with a Pussyhound or a Slutpuppy. Kaitlyn, thank you so much. It was really lovely of you to take the time to pop that post in here and it's very much appreciated. The main thing is that we're happy, overjoyed, even, that the music we already love and are continually discovering is being at least listened to  in the spirit it's posted, if not loved too.         A Pussyhound half-wakes in the velvet darkness of her den to strange coloured scents tingling in her mind, stirring thoughts of joyous moonlit chases padding like a ghost through white winter woods with every sense alert, every nerve alive, hearing the rapid fear beating warm and wet through the heart of the prey......But...
                                                                              NO.
 
        This is no prey smell.  No fresh meat stink of terror.  These colours drip with calm assurance. Strange, confident kitty sounds play through a Pussyhound's nose as her head lifts to taste the crisp morning air;  her world a shifting miasma of colour scents overlaying the drab monotone of the  mere visual.

        Aaaah, yes.....steel-spring sinews relax as memory triggers a scented colour canvas in her mind...
...these colours are the new friend, the warm, violet scent of a kindred heart, like her Slutpuppy's. This one is welcome to walk a Pussyhound's foraging paths, to drop the scents from her mind as markers of her passing,  to share a toothsome morsel under a frost ringed moon.

        Satisfied the lair is safe, a Pussyhound returns to her state of statuesque alertness, keeping her silent vigil for  the orange-red sounds of her mate to waft to her senses on the ever shifting currents of the world...

Kinda got distracted yesterday, not MY fault ofc...nose n ears taking me for a joyride. But NO proper pussycat leaves treats unsampled, just not wired that way.

With a long stretch, hind haunches lifted high, claws dug deep and tail at attention the damp cool air spanking exposed parts… it’s off to find breakfast and finish those treats.

Following ever ready ears and a waking nose l embark in the direction from which I returned… towards the scent of Hounds and tasty memories of a smorgasbord of delectable treats…  some familiar, some new but all edible. FOOD for the SOUL.

There it is, that familiar sign BEWARE OF DOGS but it no longer triggers internal alarms; no raised hackles, tightening of muscles or winding of springs in readiness to pounce. Only the scent of familiarity remains, that of friend not foe. This pussycat struts past without a hiccup in her stride, sniffing out those playful hounds, rubbing along everything, leaving my stink.

Being a creature of routine… the scent of familiarity is a pussycat’s beacon leading me to the unmistakable vocals of Nanna and the melancholy melody that is Of Monsters & Men. Always a good appetizer. 

But once again these unconventional hounds distract this hypersensitive pussy… been doing it all day.    The sound of TUNES too strong, my hunger too voracious… allowing one sense to overwhelm others. But there hiding in plain sight just under the sound… the familiar but unexpected visual treat of poetic banter. This particular volley extra spicy. Delicious… a DRUG to this cat.

But the incessant sound of more tunes catches still hungry ears… drawing me away from the irresistible word play to Eileen Rose’s - Shining. Raw n unrefined just like this pussycat likes it. Another new addition to my playlist. TY

Lykke Li’s  - Little Bit got this feline’s attention with catching beat and familiar lyrics but omg, that vid was annoying. I usually LIKE a good vid with my TUNES, unless dancing OFC, but NOT all of them.

With or without the TP trailing at Alison’s heels… Goldfrapp held my attention, plus i’m a softy for feline lovers. We prefer to be worshipped, if you want to be served…. Go find one of those long tongued floppy ear silly hounds. They’re all in on that, can’t help themselves.

Next stop Angie… no matter how hard this pussy tried to move it along… being on a mission… her curiosity was sated by lyrics. These teasing inner bits. I’ll be adding Angie to my litter too. *meow*

Then… it’s another familiar scent that tugs at this cat’s nostrils, the unique fragrance of GIN. Gin Wigmore that is. 

AGAIN... it’s one irresistible scent or sound after another… torturing this pussy’s hypersensitive senses. Those devious hounds. Stuffing me FULL, preparing me for a dinner? 
 
Well after ThunderPussy took me on an unexpected tangent, consuming way more time than this cat has… it’s time to leave my scent, mark my place n return to my own nesting place. Yep, this ain’t no stray alley cat, I got me a SugarMomma at home, waiting to pet this pussy.

Yea, I know… I’m a mouthful    but can’t stop now. Can’t depart without leaving something behind. Even this pussy was taught manners… though it is purely our prerogative to follow them. OFC. Rather than flip flop all over the place like long tongued, big eared hounds n puppy’s do, they can’t help it. it’s their nature.  Just as curiosity n compulsion are mine.

Awakened by a cold wind ushering in distant but unmistakable sounds of sadness…

This feline doesn’t know what only that something bad has happened… forcing once boisterous playful creatures into solitude. Sounds of laughter replaced by cold silence. Only the howl of a pained heart riding the wind capable of piercing its heavy veil. Reminding me… some of us mate for life. Too entangled in each other.
