Checked the word because I wasn't sure of the spelling and thats what I got. But it seems like liquorice is used in the UK and licorice in the US.

I think black liquorice is tastier than red and here atleast it comes in lots of candy. There are chocolate with liquorice here and some liquorice candies are really salty and strong.

@Adera my question was a "hpw dare you?" not a spelling issue...I understood the proper English form. 

I like the black form,...but for the stains,...why I switch the sweeter red variation if heading out into public, or dealing in more intimate encounters. Such a habit,..I actually let the more personal of my partners know,...to make that kiss more distinct, rememberable.

By the way, too much licorice is toxic for men. But they are yummy More I like wine gum. Especially a kind that here is called English wine gum. I could die for them.

Toxic? I don't like licorice (or drop as we say overhere), so I should be safe I am considered an oddity in holland though since licorice makes up more than half of the sweets comsumption here...

There are the bad effects for the kidney Bear mentioned. And........ men can become impotent

Also there are some good effects for the stomach and if you eat them frequently but very less, you shall reduce your fat. That means 1g the day, not 100g
