People who haven't broken their friends relationship with me are starting to disappear from my friends list, why is that?

I think its only the free users that this is happening too. Hmm maybe they wipe the free users from the AChat database if they haven't been online for a very long time, that would seem quite reasonable.

have you tried finding their profiles? Are they still there? I have noticed the same, and the ones gone missing, profile was gone as well...

Well since I haven't talked with them in quite some time I didn't really keep their names in my memory so I haven't check them out. I've just been a bit perplexed the last week or so when quite a few seemed to disappear.

As far as I know, profiles are removed after being idle for a while. Not sure about the length of time a profile wasn't opened, or what they do with the clothes/cash that is still in the account. Maybe they are hidden or deleted to prevent the servers to keep non-viable info..

You could be right, but so far individual in-game user information could be stored in a small file and in a whole database those users are probably insignificant storage-wise. Let's be honest, they don't have the same amount of users and user-info as, let's say, world of warcraft, which of course is a very exaggerated example to pick with literally millions of users, items and a whole lot of quest-data. A flag to mark an account as inactive after a certain time-span would be more logical and customer-friendly. That same flag would prevent users from showing up in account searches.

Actually had that conversation with a friend last night, I had noticed a disappearance of a name from the list...(mine being very short anyways). A friend checked and discovered she had 2 lovers gone,..that from only 2 months ago.

Hope they don`t wipe people out  , Allan my freind i dont see much < But when that Scott`s man  does ! >GRIN <

guessing 2 months, of inactivity...since I lost another last night...sad part was to lose some rather personal and beautiful notes besides
