    Hi,
    I am a paid member but I wasn’t be able to gift free user,(I am sure free user can receive gift, I have tested with same person that can receive gift from others but not from me) in game when I try to gift someone, it gives me a popup message: ‘Transaction was unsuccessful’. On the site gifting page the amount input is locked, the ‘Make gift’ button is grayed out and then the following messages:

    Your gifting status:
    ok – Valid subscription
    ok – Paying user
    ok – Enough A$ on account
    You are not eligible to send a gift. You must be a paying user with at least A$10 balance.

    I have purchased 30k in the past week, has 32 days of Premium membership. no issues when gifting paid user only with free users. I am considering purchase another account but was worried I am going to get the same issue, Can anyone help? thanks

    Hi Leon,
    Welcome to forum.

    Bear with me why we try to get to the bottom of this.

    You can gift other members two ways.

    First is through the web shop.

    Go to Shop and log in.
    Click on “Show Profile” under Gallery in small writing.
    Then click on “Home” top menu bar and it takes you to all your friends, lovers and spouses you have in your game list.

    You can search your list to gift someone there.
    If not, you have to find the person you wish to gift in “Members” and use “Partner search”

    To gift this way, there are certain conditions, you must meet….

    Valid Subscription …. Check to ensure your subscription has not run out. Sometimes it can take you by surprise. To check if you are still premium, log in to the game and look in your wardrobe (customise yourself). It will tell you how many days you have left, bottom left of your screen.

    Paid User – You have to have paid to play on at least one occasion (not with A$) This means you must have paid by credit card etc.. via CCBill or via GamePay.zone.

    A$ – You must have at least 10A$ in your account and in any case enough to cover the gift. This does not include the special offer A$1000 new
    joins are given to try the game out.

    If you gift this way… and If the receiver is logged into the game… they need to check their account balance and they may then have to log in and out to check the balance increase on their account again.
    I stand to be corrected, but I do not believe the pop up appears, to tell you, you have been gifted as it does if you are gifted in the game.
    I will have to check this with my spouse.

    The second way to gift and I believe the most common, is in the game.
    For some unknown reason, there are no such restrictions as above.

    In the lobby, You search for the profile of the person you wish to gift, then click on the red gift icon, bottom centre and as long as you have enough A$ in your account, you can gift. A pop up tells the person you have gifted them and the gifter is told when the transaction is complete.

    Alternatively, in the public meeting places, you can click on the avatar of the person, you wish to gift and when their profile pop up appears click on “Send Gift”
    Again, as long as you have enough A$ in your account, you can gift. A pop up tells the person you have gifted them and the gifter is told when the transaction is complete.

    If you have tried all these ways, and you can confirm yourself that the gift has not been deducted from your account, then there is a glitch in the gifting system.
    I would suggest a report to “Support.” (On above menu bar)
    Explain all the actions you have taken to try and gift and all have failed. Please can they resolve the issue and ensure your account can gift as soon as possible.

    Hi Vaughan,

    Thank you for the information and taking the time to response, I have reached out to support, although I have not yet get a response but it seems the issue was resolved, I assumed the support team has done some fix for me. I have not yet tested it in game yet, but on the site gifting page, the gifting form is no longer disabled on free users for me.

    About the popup message you mentioned, I was talking about the in game popup (not via the website). On a successful transection in game, the payer would get a popup saying ‘Transection was successful!’. In my case when I try to gift a free user, I was getting ‘Transaction was unsuccessful’ popup.

    I will test it in game as soon as I get a chance. Thank you for your help.

    Hi Vaughan,

    Just a quick follow up, achat support has responded to me today ask me to check if the issue still exist. I have tested in game gifting free user, everything seems to be working well now. I will update the post to ‘resolved’, thanks.
