wellcome to the forum, sarah! oyu can save it selecting the text from the begin of the chat (press and hold the left mouse button till the point you wanna save) and then use CTR+C (copy) and paste it on micriosoft word (CTR+V). then, all you have to do is to adjust the text.

hope this is a clear explanation and it help you!

Welcome to the forums, Sarah. Just like Hentai said, the only option available right now is to copy the text and paste it into a document file. I would like to see an auto recorded chat log that saves conversations with different members as perhaps a .txt file on our personal computers. This is a method already being used by a few other programs. I can't imagine this would be difficult considering how our ignore lists are saved to our own computers.

For example, any conversation with me would be recorded as “Keiko.txt” within the AChat file directory. Each conversation could be time stamped within the file so seperate conversations can be distinguished. This process would be better than copy and paste.

There is a chatlog-file on your computer. Each chat is saved there.

Hmmm, I never noticed the chatlog there before. I wonder if it was added with the new high quality AChat installer package with the improved graphics.

I still stand by my suggestion for seperate .txt files for individual conversations along with a time stamp for reference. That would organize everything better.

I don't know since when we have it. I just noticed it few days ago after I had to do a re-install.
If you wanna make sure you keep your old chatlog you have to save it before you make a new re-install, cause you loose the old one (logical).

True, the chatlog is emptied/replaced after an install. So if you want to save all your chats (I only save the ones that are meaninfull in a different document), you should make a back-up of the file regularly..

    Lover, thanks for informing us…
