How did you come out? im having trouble
I am a 7th generation master carpenter. as the oldest son, it was made clear early on that i will take on the family business. my best friends growing up were my sister and my cousin. we loved playing rescue the princess…our parents were severely adamant about who can be the princess.
Almost 20 years later, I still cant change myself. there is no way to hide that Ive been swinging hammers my whole life.
Even if I could become the real me…we are a small town outfit…most of our employees are family. If i lose work so does my family.
So I guess my question is how did any of you TG/TS make the trans and would the cost be worth my families legacy?
Or am I just selfish?
