The suns first light oozed like liquid gold transforming the silent shadows,
as if by magic it flowed like ghostly treakle from rooftop to rooftop bringing with it a new day
Lying there I could smell the heady aroma of coffee and freshly baked bread wafting up from the little shop below,
the reason for that delightful assult on my senses was that the doors to the little balcony were mysteriously open …
turning my head i was mesmorised by the sight of you standing there in the halflight …
I could have watched you like that for hours, the way the first light of dawn caressed those intimate parts of your body,
the way the shadow hid yet others in its intoxicating mystery.
I held my breath least any sound should break your angelic contemplation of the scene below …
I had to fight a growing compulsion to join you there, to run my warm hands over your cool body and nuzzle your neck and pull you to me,
to feel your body against mine, how i wanted you then, how selfishly i wanted to pierce this that sacred silence,
yet i could not all i could do was gaze on you and soak in every naunce of that moment.
That's how i will always remember you, that perfect summers morning.
I'm back in Paris on business, as i stepped out of the taxi those memories suddenly washed over me, i almost had to gasp for air. Its been too long and i miss you so. I feel a part of me is missing when you are away, its hard to describe. I know we went our separate ways, but thought i would write this for what its worth. Don't laugh … you know i'm a sentimental fool.
