    THE TOWN SQUARE HALLOWEEN EVENT

    From OCTOBER 17TH to OCTOBER 31ST THE TOWN SQUARE will be hosting a   HALLOWEEN event. We are asking all members and their friends to join in and find the best carved PUMPKINS to  enter for the chance to win 1000A$ for the winner.

    To enter your PUMPKIN just PM tangoracer the photo here in the forum by OCTOBER 15th and you will be entered 

    The PUMPKINS will be posted in the forum on OCTOBER 17th and you can have your vote for the best carved PUMPKIN.

    A Big Thank you to Jingerbird for the sponsor of A$1000 to give A$600 for 2rd and A$400 for 3rd places

    The vote will close on OCTOBER 30th and the winner will be announced in the Square and forum at 7:30 GMT OCTOBER 31st

    To message / post a pic off the internet

    1. To send or post a pic
    2. Find a pic off the internet you like
    3. Click on it to get it up on its own
    4  Then right click on it. it will bring up a menu
    5. Click –  copy image url
    6. Paste it in your message / topic  box   usng keys –  “ctrl + v
    7. Then high light it  (Holding left button down on your mouse and dragging across )
    8. Above the smiley faces above  is a square box  ” insert image”  ( 2nd one from the left),
    9. Click on that, it will bracket the url for you
    10. Then preview, using the below button on the right.  The pic should come up above this section.  Check its took right and not too big.  If its not took try again or it could be a copyright issue and you have to find another. 
    11. Then send it if its ok. Practice ,  its a good thing to know and quite simple really.

    To Resize a pic thats too big  

    [img]URL of the pic[/img][img]

    Use this simple code:

    [/img][img width=200][/img] URL of the pic[img][/img] where 200 is the size you want to set.

    I recommend for rooms, a good size is 650.
    For dresses, lower it around 400.

    I have been told 600 is a good size for Forum.  [img width=600][/img] URL of the pic[img]

    If you are happy with the preview, then send / post. Practice. You just learnt a new skill
