Achat Premium is back on Fri 4th June

I did what I have been advising others to do and wrote to support concerning the no gift/purchase of A$ issue. This was my response:

@Manwell I truly am sorry to see you leave the game. I am sure that others will choose to do the same as well.

My position on the matter may be in the minority but I joined the game when we all needed to pay for a subscription. There were less alts, less zero rated nudes running around just to harass, less minors and less beggars.

I remember too when having just paid for another years subscription when Achat made it free to use because of Covid. They granted us a years gift of meeting, chatting and play for free during the many stressful days of lockdown and I am grateful for their choice to do this. They refunded me my paid subscription.

We often bemoaned the lack of attention being given the game and to forum. The needs of an update, more poses and better support were often topics of conversation. None of that happens without a cost. “They get a ton of money off products sold in shop.” Is another comment I often hear. Much of the clothing that is found in the shop is designed by members and a good portion of what we pay for that dress or that suit is sent to the designer.

In the end Achat is a business. They are entitled to a profit. We wanted upgrades and they are giving them to us. Yes, there is a popular free game out there but it is a pirated/illegal/stolen version of said game. The genuine game requires a subscription (higher than what Achat charges) and has many more poses than the pirated one. I refuse to support thieves. But that’s me.

I have to say that the only group with a true gripe is the M/M community.

They cannot dance together or kiss each other yet they are asked to pay the same amount as the rest of us.

I truly hope that the Achat administrators are paying attention to this need.

We were speaking to a gay man yesterday who told us that the old version of the pose editor used to be able to edit for all gender mixes and now it only takes M/F. I am sure that Achat had reasons for limiting it but I respectfully ask that this be revisited.

Well Here we are on Monday the 7th June and no sign of premium starting anytime soon, so disappointed that Achat can treat loyal members so so wrongly fooling us all in subscribing needlessly, while the free idiots remain here annoying everyone with needless colds

You are right Michelle. I came into the game last night and i was harassed in Amsterdam but also in the lobby by more idiots than ever!
I preferred to close the game and move to another game because there you are more respected!

I was discouraged to hear from some players that they have not paid for premium and still have access to their clothes and poses, why the hell did I buy premium for then?

I have forwarded a message to Achat asking for clarification.

This is what I have asked. When I get a reply, I’ll post it here.

Some of our members paid for premium early in order not to be locked out on the changeover.
As premium has not started yet, will the early paid up members be able to recover the days, they needlessly paid for?
Are you able to say when the premium will start?
Are you able to say when all members will receive their gifts?

On the Achat website, Achat has posted a notification in regard to the gifts which says
“*** Yes, you heard it right. When you buy A$, you’ll get presents …like pose(s), cloth(es) and environment(s). IT STARTS VERY SOON! Don’t worry, this will be effective retroactively, from June 1 on ***”

This has appeared on the web shop so looks like things are afoot to claim your gifts.
If anyone can enlighten us on how it works and what you get, we would be grateful

Great news I was able to collect my gift, just click “active” and sign in. The gifts you can receive are listed, good luck!:)

I have so many questions. I only see a list of poses and wardrobe items with “Buy” next to it. I do not wish to BUY anything I wish to collect gifts. Does someone who purchased $40 worth get same gift as someone who bought $10?? Where are MY gift choices? This list of “Gifts” tells me nothing. Where does it say “Jessi you can pick one, two or three items below as your gift.”?

I have written to Achat to ask hours ago but no response yet.

I have had a response from Achat

I asked:
Some of our members paid for premium early in order not to be locked out on the changeover.
As premium has not started yet, will the early paid up members be able to recover the days, they needlessly paid for?
Are you able to say when the premium will start?
Are you able to say when all members will receive their gifts?

I also asked:
Achat was advertised / available on “Steam”
Steam is a cloud-based gaming library. One of its most popular features is the ability for users to use any computer to play games they buy/download to their Steam accounts.
I believe this is no longer an option. Is this correct?

Hi,
sorry for the delay, we will change the system ass soon as possible. No gifts or purchased premium days will be lost.

The Steam platform will be available, there is no change, except that the new rules will be valid for Steam users too.
