    Good Day to all,

    This is directed at the AChat support team.

    I have been unable to log onto AChat for 2 days now. And i can’t log onto the website to access the shop either.
    But for some reason I am still logged into the forum.

    My password should be 100% correct as I have chosen to “save password” on the program and I have my browser set to remember my password for the website. On top of that, I have also tried all other possible passwords that I would have used.

    However, I cannot log into the program and the site, and all I receive is a message saying “wrong username or password”. This has happened a few times, but it somehow resolved itself within the same day, which is why I haven’t brought it up. But now it’s been 2, and coming close to 3 days. I am a premium member, and have spent money here for over a year. Please assist me as soon as possible. 🙁

    I have tried to go through the contact support system, but no reply for 2 days as well. There are no other means of communication, which is why I am posting here.

    Also I have noticed that a few others, have posted here regarding the same issue a year back, however it seems they have not received a response. I hope this will not be the case this time. I am really hoping you guys can take the time to help me out, or at the very least explain what happened, and what I can do now. :-

    have you tried uninstalling Achat then reinstalling?  might be worth a try. i had a issue with corrupt files and a reinstall fixed the problem. maybe Lover (the moderator) can help when he logs on

    I had a similar problem  not so long back and was unable to gain access  for 30 minutes or so one morning, then it seemed to correct itself.  It did not last as long as yours though.

    We may have to try and eliminate the basics  first –

    1 ) The username and passwords are upper & lower case sensitive.    Have you tried your passwords ensuring  that the  ” caps Lock” is on or off as appropriate.

    2)  How safe is your password?  Are you sure it has not been compromised in any way.  If in any doubt, please report immediately to  ” Support”  above.  Explain the situation and ask for your password to be reset.  The Achat Gods should answer you in a few days to your email.  On receiving this, please  reset your password immediately to something you remember  easily . Best advice is use an old car registration you used to have, and avoid common things that could be easily guessed.
    Due to this advice, I have removed the email you have published.  I do not want you to receive any impersonations and advise members  not to publish personal details on Forum or in the game.
    Unscrupulous people will take advantage.  Please guard your personal information to prevent you becoming a victim of these people.

    3)  It could be that you have a corrupt file somehow and you will need to take jayc's advice above.

    4)  If you do not hear from Achat after 3  days, then forward another  report through  ” Support”  above  asking for your password to be reset and forwarded to your email account.  As before, change your password immediately. 

    Hope the above helps.  Please post here to let us know how you get on and any result . It helps if other members get similar problems.

    Hello Scott,

    try what jayc and brandy have told. But something is confusing… you say “This has happened a few times, but it somehow resolved itself within the same day, which is why I haven't brought it up.”

    – Does another person has access to your comp?
    – Check your antivirus-software/firewall and all other security software you have running.It sounds, as if always after an update of a software you cannot login.

    I also have sent an email to you. We hope to fix your problem asap.

    Hi all, thanks for your replies. I have been busy with other stuff, which is why my response is delayed. I have just tried reinstalling Achat, and configuring my firewall settings and internet connection settings. Everything seems fine, but I am still having the same problem. So I have send a message to support asking to them to reset my password. I did so a few days ago, and did not get a reply. So I have sent them another message today. Hopefully I get a response, I have tried everything else :/ *fingers crossed*

    PS : I can comprehend that there might be some issues on my end with the program itself, like corrupt files and all that. The thing I dun understand is, how I can't even log in to the website. Like I mentioned before, my password was saved in my browser, so there is no way it can be the wrong password. No one else uses my account, and I have not given my login information to anyone else. If the issue is with the program, shouldn't I still be able to access my account on the website(meaning the shop and all that) ?

    Yes, at least you should be able to login to homepage.

    As long as you don't get an answer you can try this:
    – Create a new account
    – Login to game with your new account
    – Restart your comp and loging to website and game again, using your new account
    – If this is working, there must be another problem with your old account

    Taking your suggestion, I created a new account, and I am able to log in to both the program and the website, with this new account. So now I am completely confused about what happened with my original account. :S

    Ok I just checked and I have gotten a reply form the support team, and a new password. It works on the website. Gna try it on the program shortly. :)
