I love the sunrise Covems, I always wake in the darkness of morning to take it in.
Not that I dislike the night, quite contrary
Longfellow wrote it well.. its source long forgotten but the words I carry,
“Silently, one by one, in the infinite meadows of heaven,
Blossomed the lovely stars, the forget-me-nots of the angels”
I will miss this place… where I live in this moment.. because the night sky is unlike any other, the depth and mgnitude, the smear of milky way across the blackness, so thick you could swear you are breathing in stardust. In the quiet moments I find the memories, special moments that a star may invoke. Some sweet, some bitter…some long hidden, lost by time but to suddenly sparkle in the mind for a moment.
and when dawn arrives…its like the universe in its own way deflecting me from this by its beauty, a quiet whisper.. a gentle nudge
“Linger no more there,.. live… live this day.”
