Same as Bullrun01_fr, the amount of what AChat cut me represents 60% of all my sales …
January 23, 2024 at 4:07 pm #203930VaughanModeratorI have sent the below message to Achat to see if they will compromise and deal with this matter more fairly with the URL to this topic.
If I get a reply, I will of course post it here.Hi Achat,
Your new update on how creators and designers are paid is causing ill feeling.
They feel penalised for your bad planning.
No one ever takes a wage cut very well but this seems particularly wrong. Can we come to a compromise here?
Is is possible to reimburse the creators and designers to at least the date the new rules are implemented?
Just raiding the members accounts is just not right.
At least then these valued members are not blind-sided and know the rules at the time of creation & can decide to continue as a designer or creator for you.Is it possible then, to stop new joins from buying members designs and poses until they reach Level 10? This way the cost of your A$1,000 promotion to New Joins is not passed on to these creative members and you only give away Achat designs and poses.
This way, the designers and creators will feel valued and not let down.
Please resolve this matter as soon as possible and show good will to our talented members. Thanks
Vaughan.PS. Please can we have our Forum Tools back, voting facility, signature banners, better forum board descriptions, 5 link allowance for members posts, Forum button on log-in or Achat Mall.
Have you seen Shawshank Redemption? Like Andy Dufresne and his library, I’ll keep asking till you listen and act! Thanks 🙂January 23, 2024 at 5:24 pm #203943deharteParticipantThank you, Vaughan.
It’s good to feel that we’re not alone. I believe I speak for all designers when I say that your intervention is much appreciated.January 23, 2024 at 6:20 pm #203944ZuzannahParticipantHey V.
You’re turning into a Diplomat.
Nice E-mail by the way.
January 23, 2024 at 8:28 pm #203945bree90ParticipantHI,
the level 10 rule is absolutely wrong and incorrect.
if a user who has not yet reached level 10, buys A$, buys valid and not free A$!
the level 10 rule must be eliminated because it is discriminatory and unfair. The best solution is:
the user who will have those damned A$ welcome gifts (1000 A$£) will be able to purchase only and exclusively poses and clothes owned by ACHAT, including poses and clothes that ACHAT pays to the designers in A$ and which obviously become the property of the game. (it still remains to be understood whether the money that Achat then pays is to be considered valid or not for the purposes of actual purchases).Clothes and poses published by creators in the Developer Console, who therefore only earn if they sell, can only be purchased with A$ purchased or received as a gift. (gifts can only be given with A$ purchased)
I’ll give a simple example that maybe someone from support will read this post and understand.
the user who has 1500A$ (500A$ from welcome gift and 1000 purchased or given as a gift) and wants to buy my most expensive set of underwear which costs 1269 cannot and should not buy it because the difference of 269 comes from the welcome gift .It doesn’t seem like such a difficult solution to implement.
there would be advantages both for us creators and for Achat who would not have to carry out these checks. It is obvious, but not obvious, that if the new rule wants to be implemented (and I am the first to accept and share it) it will have to be implemented after eliminating the credits earned with the old system. (I personally deducted about $1300 from +700 to -669).
Errors made due to mismanagement or simply incorrect evaluation cannot be the responsibility of the creators who, like me and I think for everyone, commit time and passion.in the Achat announcement we talk about consolidated users, but the most consolidated are the creators themselves.
Personally, being currently the oldest creator, in over 2 years my creations have brought over $10,000 (equivalent to A$2,000,000) into Achat’s coffers.
January 23, 2024 at 8:59 pm #203947bree90ParticipantHello v.
I don’t accept any kind of compromise.
if they have made errors in evaluation in the past it is right that only they should pay.
we creators are not to blame. the rules on the site were clear and we always followed those rules to earn money on the pieces sold.
Then…. if a company implements this change to save $2000…… I won’t say anything else.January 24, 2024 at 3:34 am #203949Leon_KennedyParticipantThanks Vaughan, we’re lucky to have someone like you in our community.
Hi Bree, I feel you, i also had a rather large amount in my account that i should have withdrawn sooner. the last time i checked before the update, i had over $1800 in my acct, and now it’s down to -530… never expected that achat could stoop so low like this.
Couple things i don’t understand.. creators have been submitting their designs/poses for years, so why has this issue only surfaced recently?
Another thing i found surprising is that, as i learned from cloth designers, cloth designs are now at a 60% reduction in total sales, while as a pose designer myself, my pose earning have decreased by 46%, which is less of a cut down compared to cloth designs. This is very surprising to me, as i thought new or low lvl users would prioritize getting poses initially to try out the sex animations, rather than clothes. Designers, can you imagine that, prior to the update, 60% of your cloth designs were purchased by those naked free users running around in winter?- This reply was modified 9 months, 4 weeks ago by Leon_Kennedy.
January 24, 2024 at 4:21 am #203951bree90ParticipantHi Leo,
unfortunately if we had known before everyone would have requested payment of their credits.
they played really dirty but they don’t surprise me anymore.only they know why.
in the reply email they gave me they talk about purchases made with the welcome A$, while the notice talks about level 10.
as always, communication between Achat and users is always terrible and their silence is confirmation of this.
I didn’t do a precise calculation on the percentages, also because I only make clothes and I only have one pose for sale.
Theoretically, poses are purchased more by men while women buy more clothes.January 24, 2024 at 4:41 am #203952bree90Participanttip for designers:
check the number of pieces sold and compare them daily.
I saw that after the Achat cut, one of my dresses was deducted by another 3 pieces in negative while another one seemed to have sold 11 pieces in a single day.
this is quite anomalous.
I think they’re making a messJanuary 24, 2024 at 4:15 pm #203956joehotParticipantGetting paid by level 10 users is not worth the effort the drop off is too much.
They need to change their whole subscription possess if that’s the case.January 25, 2024 at 8:31 am #203965Bullrun01_frParticipantRight, not worth it…
So what do we do if AChat does not change its policy ?
Shall we simply stop designing and quit the game ?(and achat will keep earning money selling our previous designs + all the ones they placed in the queue …)
January 25, 2024 at 1:25 pm #203966ZuzannahParticipantYou are right about them still making money if you leave. They will.
I know this sounds naïve, but could you ask them to remove your designs from that queue you’ve mentioned. If you want to go that far, that is.
But, I think really that this is the only thing you can do, apart from just quitting.
If what I’ve heard from another designer, (they have sent 100’s of designs) is true then Achat can go for quite sometime with these designs alone.
But, We are all getting ahead of ourselves here. Lets just wait and see what the outcome is from Vaughan’s Email to Support. He might have to send another one. Lets hope Achat realises the importance of this.
January 25, 2024 at 2:25 pm #203969VaughanModeratorHi all. Thanks for your kind words.
Of course I will do everything to support you all.
You creators and designers are highly valued for keeping Achat interesting and well dressed.
All Members, I’ve spoken to agree and support you.Achat have not answered me yet, so I have sent another message and will continue to do so.
This is far too important to be ignored. Please get your friends to voice support in this topic too and write to support. We need to keep the momentum up and tell Achat this is an important issue.
This is what I have sent…
Hi Achat,
This bad feeling is gathering momentum. Please don’t ignore the creators and your customers.
I’m sending my message again dated Tues 23 Jan 2024.
Please strongly consider reimbursing the creators and designers and have a specific date for the rule change in paying them. They can then decide if they wish to continue working for you within the new rules.
Please also seriously consider not allowing their designs or creations being part of the A$1,000 gift for new joins.
This seems to be the crux of the problem.“Hi Achat,

Vaughan. ”January 25, 2024 at 3:50 pm #203974deharteParticipantI would like to thank again to everyone. Especially those that are not designers but still feel us.
Just for you to have an idea about the “impact” of this new rule:
– I do have 47 “active” designs selling in the Shop at the moment. I believe it is a plenty big number of designs.
Of course it depends, but just for everyone to have an idea, before the new rule, my income would be about $20-25/week and sometimes $40-65/week or even more if there is an update with a new design of mine. Right now, almost 1 week after the new “rule” my income increased +$3…. I expect it to be $4/week now with the new rule…$4/week is not worth the time we spend designing new clothes.
January 25, 2024 at 4:54 pm #203986VaughanModeratorI fully agree with the impact being hard Deharte. I do not think that our members clothes and poses should be a part of Achat’s A$1,000 promotion give-away that New Joins receive, if they penalise you like that.
The promotion should be restricted to Achat’s own creations only.
You should not pay for their promotion to attract members nor have your accounts raided without notice.
It’s a pay cut without notice and not good practice.
You cant agree payment, pay and then decide… that’s too much and steal the money back.
Name a business that does that?
Trade unions would be in an uproar!Achat appear to have broken your contract for payment by raiding your accounts and changing the rules midway and without warning.
The date of the rule change should be current and advertised in advance, not retrospective.
This gives designers and creators the information to decide whether they continue working for Achat then or not.Achat should refund all members, do the right thing and then advise on the date of the rule change so creators can pull their designs, poses and stop all together if they wish.
Come on Achat, where is your good will? Do not treat our talented and valued members in this way.
