March 15, 2015 at 10:13 am #145035TonygParticipantHi everyone!
i would like to make a proposition about this game, maybe to make it more interesting for all the players (not only for the Mercedes).
Given the F1 point system:
1st 25 points
2nd 18
3rd 15
4th 12
5th 10
6th 8
7th 6
8th 4
9th 2
10th 1
i would like to propose a similar reward system.Using a coefficient of A$40 per point, we ll have the following rewards:
1st 25 *40 = 1000
2nd 18 *40 = 720
3rd 15 *40 = 600
4th 12 *40 = 480
5th 10 *40 = 400
6th 8 *40 = 320
7th 6 *40 = 240
8th 4 *40 = 160
9th 2 *40 = 80
10th 1 *40 = 40
with a total of 4040 A$.I also propose to either increase the bet to A$100 to cover this amount or to decrease the reward coefficient at A$20 so the total would be 2020.
In addition, we could have our own Championship Leaderboard, with the points each player gets from his drivers during the whole season, leading probably to the Final Championship Awards
March 15, 2015 at 10:53 am #145036BrandybeeParticipantHi Tony,
Thank you for posting your idea. It is good to see such enthusiasm on Forum and is very interesting.
Unfortunately funds are limited for prizes and awarding A$ for our Forum contests and events. We have to think of ingenious ways to award participants, raise the prizes and be transparent and fair to all of our events and contests.
It would be difficult change the rules in mid stride and to raise the additional funding for those prizes now.
We cannot therefore, afford to play this in the way you suggest but after a discussion with the other organisers, we can certainly offer a variant of your suggestion for the F1 end of season.
This will be posted shortly to attract anyone who may be interested.
We appreciate your idea and thank you for contributing and we hope you will continue to share your ideas with us.
