FORUM EXPLAINED

A Big Hearty Welcome to Forum to all our New Visitors.

Visiting Achats Forum can appear to be quite daunting but once you get used to it, it is quite a simple format.

Achats Forum is small, friendly and informative.

We are in the process of building our community by encouragement, word of mouth, interesting topics and events to engage the community.

I have now tidied up the Forum Boards so members can find or refer to things more easily and hopefully make an educated guess on the best place to post topics.

As you visit and post more, your confidence will grow and the Forum “Corridors” will become more familiar.

So Welcome aboard.

Forum is divided into 27 Headed Sections, which are self explanatory. This is the Forum Home Page.
They are listed below 1 – 27.

If you get lost or confused as you browse through the sections and topics, don’t worry, we have all been there.
Just look to the top of the page at the menu bar for “Community.”
Click on “Community” for the drop down menu and click on “Forum”
This will take you back to the Forum Home Page starting point again.

If you are in a topic and you wish to confirm what section you are browsing … look to the pathway above the topic title…

you will see something similar to this… This is the pathway to your location.

Home is Achats Home Web Page.

Forums is the Forum Home Page showing the 27 separate headings as below

the Topics most recently posted in. The most recent topics posted in are at the top of the page. (This “Topics” section of the pathway is now obsolete)

Fantasies and Fetishes is the forum section you are in. (Go to the bottom of the page of a section Heading for the text box to start a new topic in that section.)

SPANKING! Is the title of the topic. (Go to the bottom of the topic for the text box to post a reply in that topic.)

The numbers between direction arrows on top right and bottom right of posts are the pages in the topics where you can go back and forth. The biggest number shown is the last page.

“Topics” – Unfortunately this is now obsolete.
If you click on the “Topics” part of the pathway, this will show you all the recent topics posted in, from any of the forum sections, with the most recent at the top of the page. The further down the page you go, or “page back” the older the topics are. This is the easiest way to keep updated on the most recent posts or topics posted in.

“Forums”
If you click on this, it will take you back to the Forum Home Page or Home Forum Board with the 27 Headed sections.

If you click on a section heading, it will open up the topics page for that section. This will show you all the recent topics posted in that particular section, with the most recent at the top of the page. The further down the page you go, or “page back” the older the topics are.

Useful keys on keyboard for forum

The “Home” and “End” keys are useful. “Home” is a short cut to the top of the page. “End” is a short cut to the bottom of the page.

“Page up” and “page down” keys are similar to the up and down arrows and are used to scroll up and down the page but are much quicker.

Sometimes they are side by side too on the right of keyboard.

If you accidentally close down a forum page

Press “Ctrl” “Shift up / arrow key” (Bottom Left) and the letter “T” and it will return the last tab you had open.

Another useful tip is when you see a link. Right click on the link and choose the option “Open Link in new tab”
This will open a new tab or page for you, whilst keeping your original Achat’s Forum page open.
If you do it this way, by doing the right click, you do not navigate away from the page you are in and get lost.
Use the X, top right on the tab, to shut it down when you have finished.
