Just a note: If you're using any blocker, allow popups for AChat. Because if you get a pm, you will be informed by a popup.

Adblock Plus for Google Chrome or Firefox. Well worth all the ad blocks.

Actually Adblock is whitelisting companies who pay for. It can be discussed if this is legit or not but to me it looks like, “It would be so sad if all your wonderfull ads would be blocked, huh?”
So I prefer some of the blockers which don't behave like this and block all of this this useless crap no one pays bandwith for than me.
                uBlock Origin for example.

And besides. If there is ad on TV I zapp away. If I watch TV at all. I hate this “buy-me”-screaming all day long. So for me an adblocker is perfectly legit.  It's just a remote control to zapp this shit away I did not invite to my home.
Next step will be TV's you can't zap while ads are aired. I bet on that.

One good piece of software to add:
                Spybot Search&Destroy

SearchLock is a search engine that helps you to protect your privacy while you search the Internet. They Are Profiling You… When you search for something, ads related to your searches follow you around for days. It's common knowledge Google and other search engines are tracking and creating a detailed profile about you based on your searches.

Keep Your Searches to Yourself.  Search experiences should not result in an invasion of your privacy.

Try SearchLock. When you use SearchLock, you are protected from the big companies who are profiling you based on your searches to sell advertising. The SearchLock browser extension uses technology to detect when your search query is about to be tracked in a way that could result in ads following you around the web, re-routes it so that it isn't, then delivers your search results via an encrypted privacy-friendly results page at searchlock.com.

Prevent search engines from profiling you with SearchLock.   It’s FREE.  http://download.cnet.com/SearchLock/3000-33362_4-76440710.html

I've got a good little program to mention as well.

                          REVO UNINSTALLER.

I found out that after you uninstall programs it leaves somethings behind. (Folders and Registry entries).

This removes them.  It uses the programs uninstaller first and then you can scan (normal or advanced) for the things it leaves behind.  It then shows you what they are and you can select them and then delete.

Pretty easy to find on a search engine.

This is a great way to do something interesting and useful especially if you are self isolating in these uncertain days of Corona Virus / Covid 19.
