Grand National Sweep 2016

This is the race sweeps were made for.    Sorry for the short notice. It is open now for sweepers until 3pm tomorrow or until all 40 slots are taken.

The Grand National Race 2016 is on Saturday 9 April 2016 at 5.15pm BST.

In the UK, The race will be shown live on Channel 4, with coverage fronted by Clare Balding, with radio coverage on BBC Five Live. In 2015, 8.9m viewers watched the race on the channel. There will also be live coverage throughout the day at telegraph.co.uk/sport.

169: This will be the 169th edition of the race
1839: Year the race was first staged
4: Miles to be covered by the horses – plus two furlongs and 74 yards
30: Fences to be cleared
40: Horses that are expected to start
600m: Worldwide TV viewers
150,000: Spectators who visit Aintree over the three-day Festival

RULES

Directors –  Brandybee & Lover who will be allowed to take part.

40 Horse Slots.  50 Achat $ gifts you a horse.  You may only have 1 horse, depending on interest.

Gift Osiris_Forum with your entry donation.  Post your interest in this topic and send PM to the 2 directors the date you gifted Osiris_Forum.

Horses will be drawn for Sweepers (Players ) after the slots are filled by the Directors.  The Players & Draw result will be published prior to the race broadcast on TV.

Stake / Pot collected will be awarded to the winner (s) of the race.
