ok, seriously…….this thread can be helpful because there are people who use them, specially online. But please, i ask this as a not english native speak….try to don't use them here and not in the story section! sometimes just reading normal prhases is not easy, if we start to use abbrieviations and slang, it will be hell!

I concur. TBH, it can be 8-bit dicey trying to decipher an entire sentence made entirely of abbreviations. Ofc, it's nb idea to learn them, imo. If anything tyt to understand something that seems to throw u off. LUL.

I agree with you,  this is just a point of reference, not a new language.

I'm still learning and new ones pop up all the time in chat.  Its just interesting to know the most common ones in use. The others, I forget easily.

I would not encourage total use here in forum or in chat.

Some are quite funny.  As you can probably tell, the intricate symbols I'm not including in the top post, nor sayings I've never heart of. If they become popular, I'll add.
