It's never the pistol that kills, it's the finger that uses the deductible.
Th idea is as old as there are dating sides – men have to pay (more), women are (almost) free. Why? To get enough women.
The gifting system uses this idea, cause every user can be a free user. But if you wanna have nice dresse (and you want Ladies, am I rght?) you have to buy them. The men can gift the woman and she can please him, using nice clothes. Simple and easy.

Perhaps they didn't think about whores or they thought it will not be a big problem. No matter, cause they never stop the gifting system – and I don't want it, too.
If we ask for equal treatment we also have to think about the follows: How much men become a male hooker? Then we start a new thread:
“Is enough being done to stop male hookers?”
Though I gave the warning in the zz-button thread, the chance to ignore free users might increase hookers, I repeat my opinion I ever had:
Ignore hookers, there are enough wonderful girls and shemales.

@tight : to kill all paid sex its simple , if someone ask you money to fuck , say no

@lover : totally agree with you , and stopping gifting sistem will not resolve the problem , they will just ask real money in place of A$ like a girl did one day with me lol

Rukya, I would never pay for sex..  For me, it would be an ensured disaster.. I laugh at the banners that say: Pay me, so I will get twice as horny.. Money is an aphrodisiac for sure, but this just makes me laugh.

Maybe the hookers were a side effect of the gifting system, one not conceived before the implementation. But this side effect, however negative for us that perceive it that way, does have a positive effect on the cashflow. And to be honest, I really don't see the difference between a$ and real money. A$ represent financial value..

And appareantly the system has it's benefits as it is used often (that is an assumption, I have no insight in how much cash changes hands), that means there is some kind of validation to it.. I like to view hookers as a buzzing fly.. Highly annoying, but harmless after you slapped it away…

    Hiya's…

I have asked quite a few of the people who are aking for gifts in exchange for a hot time (you know me… I'm full of questions), and some have told me they earn quite a few $A.  So I guess it is helpful for some, both the payer and payee.

On a personal note, as a young woman… in my own fantasy world… I would wonder what that life style (charging for sex) would be like.  Did anyone read “The Happy Hooker” by Xaviera Hollander?  That's what I imagined.  The real world of that is pretty seedy, and I can't imagine myself charging anyone for my pleasures.

    Thanks for letting me share,

Actually The Happy Hooker was written off of her own experiences.

I think it's a matter of how the person approaches it.

Keiko brought up the idea of a Working Girls Guild, and spoke thoughtfully, and eloquently on the subject, and her experiences in a similar function on other games. I'm fairly confident she would be a magnificent Working Girl here on AChat.

We've all been approached by bad examples.

It's like I mentioned that porn star Justine Joli. She seems happy, and healthy, and enjoying her career having girlsex in front of a camera. Then there are the porn stars who are on Celebrity Rehab for the habits they picked up in the industry.

So I don't think there is a universal good or bad to it.

Janine is right, I was a Working Girl for a while on another game. To put it simply, the difference between a hooker and a Working Girl is the strong code of ethics and dedication to provide a service that is professional, stimulating and far superior than any other. It was important that the client was always deeply involved, their desires were priority and they left satisfied and smiling.  If you want to learn more, check out this thread: https://funnyadultgamesplay.com/forum/index.php/topic,1127.0.html

As for my personal experience, it was important to have fun and I did. The satisfaction of knowing I gave someone an unrivaled experience that kept them coming back for more always made me happy.

Keiko, that was one of the first tread i read, so i remember it really well.

at the end, all we can do about hookers at the moment is just saying “No”. in the future…..i dunno! but i doubt something gonna change

I can be kinda harsh towards whores at first… I generalize too much, just look at this thread after for example: https://funnyadultgamesplay.com/forum/index.php/topic,1238.0.html

If there is a genuine interest in pleasing the customer first I think it's way better since they are way more likely to get what they pay for.

The a-team does encourage hooking, as it is based on the gifting system. That was created to offer a base of available women for the biggest paying customer base, men..

The a$ have to be bought and having girls ask and get paid for sex, means a bigger cashflow for the company. The gifting system was introduced so that it would be made easy for girls to be in the game without having to pay for it, therefor attracting them.

To think or hope that the dev-team would take serious measures to kill all paid sex, is an Utopia.. They pay their bills with it. All of this was discussed and more or less confirmed (the gifting system, not the hooking part) by Tom..

I applaud your realism. However, there are exceptions, to wit, I am one. I spend a lot of money on all poses, rooms, clothes, etc.
I do not gift, except in rare occasions where my partner has already established a non quid-pro-quo relationship, AND there has been no request on the other person's part. Gifts should be from the heart, which means the idea should originate with you. My point in terms of your financial hypothesis (which for AChat owners is probably true), is that if hookers take over Achat, I am gone. That may fly in the face of their suspected business model, but hookers ruin the fantasy for me, and I will take my money with me.

    Hiya's…

I came across this topic, and just had to add my 2 cents worth.  It's just my opinion, but I think AChat encourages the “hooker” thing.  Why else would they have a rating system for the people, (women, since I can not gift a Man) that you send gifts too?  I mean what in the world is up with that?  I sent my girlfriend a gift, because we kind of share our A$, (well, to a limit… I buy, she takes)  and I noticed along the side there was a rating for her if I wanted to give her one.  The scales goes from -5 hearts to + 5 hearts… and it's stated as RATE, not affection or something like that.  The only reason I see for having that is to remind me who was worth the A$.  She is, of course. lol

That's all I gots to say about Dat.

I agree with you in terms of AChat setting up a reward system that encourages hooking. However, as I said in a previous post, enough people are turned off by sexual blackmail for money, that for some of us, it results in reticence to spend, and lost revenue for ACHAT. This game is a microcosm of real life. There are plenty of hookers in bars, and some people are willing to part with their money for a guaranteed, or “unearned” sexual experience. However, there are also plenty of women in bars, or elsewhere who genuinely want to share a pleasurable experience wihout demeaning themselves. Women whose equality in the sexual encounter would be diminished by begging for dollars. These women are the most attractive to me, and in the long run, are the ones I end up spending my money on.  :-*

PS Not to embarass you, but you are one of the ladies that would prompt me to spring for a weekend bed & breakfast, romantic dinner, and a fine wine and chocolates watching the sun set on the beach in Maui. :-*

    Hiya's…

Your last post made me blush.  Thank you for your kind words.

It was a Gift that got me to try AChat on the premium level, and it was that time trying AChat on the premium level that got me to sign up.  I agree that gifts should come from the heart and not a demand.  I too, would very much like to send a gift to some of the men I have met here, especially with Valentine's Day just around the corner, but I can not.  I send send a gift to the special ladies here, but not the men.  I hope AChat would take notice of this and allow gifting to the men.
