We have to differ. When is it still just keeping and protecting our private life, when is it lying.
Most here don't talk about their RL for good reasons. It's the same as you don't tell everything to a stranger you meet in real. I accept this.

For me, it's starting when you tell (bad) stories ABOUT your life or when you tell untrue things about other members or when you lie to hurt other people. Or when you, instead of telling the truth, are silent to those who love you. Maybe it's not a lie, but playing with feelings – something I hate.

I agree with what has been said before: Only if you love and accept yourself, you can accept and love others.

@jinger: Right. All rp games offer the chance, to be someone else – better, stronger, more beautiful… it's not good or bad. It may help us, to become the person we want to be (eg becoming more self-confident) but if we lose ourself in this fantasy, we start telling lies. Firts a little one, but then we have to lie more and more, just to “protect” our first one.

And, of course, here are the same people there are in life – those who are born liars, not able to be honest. It's sad but it's more sad for them then to us.

Hi,
No need to talk about his real life to be oneself in the game.

I have friends who know me in real and others not, and all are great, now I have 10 no more who I really trust

I agree with lover on this one.  I'm a different person on achat to how i am in real.  I'm not a scammer or trying to cheat anyone, but achat is an escape for me so Im gonna b some1 different.

I dont ask 4 gifts and certainy not 4 sex, but i consider it rude not 2 fuck  some1 who gave me a gift

But there r a lot of scammers and liars out there so do beware.  I pretty much always assume shems r guys tho

  But as to being a different person.  Well I'm still me, (I try to be nice to everyone) my personality, sense of humour and Morals are the same.  I think the only thing about me that is different in here is that I'm a little more outspoken and open to others. Especially with certain friends/lovers that I have had the Amazing Fortune to meet.   :-*

  As to the liars I don't know if I have ever met any or roomed with a Girl who was a Guy behind her.  How can you tell the difference ?

  But what I think is wrong is people who try to sell photos for ACHAT $.  These people I think are breaking the TOS.  No one I think advertises it on their Avi's page anymore but, I have seen someone trying to do so in the poker.

I know what u mean.  I sometimes think im more me on achat than in real life.  Im kinda shy and not very good at talking 2 ppl. ive met some amazing ppl and had some amaing experiences.

I have been offered A$ 4 pics b4 just straight up cold and i remember there were a lot of peeps advertising it, but havent seen that kind of thing since achat 2

i think most ppl skim the TOS tho…

The best way is to give a gift when you want to give a gift and not when someone want that you give her/him a gift .

For myself , i principally send gifts to my submissive so she can talk in the poker room and to make her look very better than the basic avatar . She worth it , she waited for me for 2 years after all .
