Love Cat Stevens and was blessed to be able to see him before he was tagged as a risk on the no fly list and not allowed into this country.  Of course that has changed and he now goes by the name of Yusuf Islam.  One thing that has not changed is his amazing talent.  Tea for the Tillerman and  Teaser & the Firecat are my two fave albums by him.  It would be impossible to pick a favorite song, but this one touches me in a way that's been unforgettable since the first time I heard it.

I heard him say that if he had had the ability to write only one song in his lifetime this would have been it.  I post it today in honor of the Father of my sons who passed away Easter Sunday two years ago.  “I thank you for the freedom when it came my time to go.”
