Having problems to register to the forum?

Do you use IE8 and get this message? “Your AChat username and password don't indicate that you are a Premium AChat user”
Switch to (an old) Firefox, it should work then.

Taking a screenshot in full screen

Had encouter this problem in full view….when i past the captured screen on Paint, it looks like a black screen.

This is how i solved it:

Open the folder you installed AChat in.
Right-click “achat_starter.exe”
Click “Properties”
Click the “Compatibility” tab
Check “Disable desktop composition”
Click “OK”
Run the game

Press “Print Screen”
Open “Paint”
Paste

If it's still black, try also checking “Disable visual themes” in the “Compatibility” tab

For me, the first step was enough and now i can take wonderfull full view screen!

Check new posts since last visit/refresh?

Does your screen looks like a, b or c?

a) no unread posts since last visit

b) 3 unread posts since last visit

c) You don't kow if there are any new posts because you have shrinked the header

Compare a + b with c. On the right side of header beside your name you see date and time. Right beside this you see a + or –
Click it to see the differents. If you have the + you don't know if there are new posts or replies. Make sure, you always see the –. You also know you have it when you can read this:

Show unread posts since last visit.
Show new replies to your posts.
Total time logged in: 131 days, 10 hours and 43 minutes.  Perhaps you have another login time
