Can you explain more, Bear!?
April 10, 2013 at 7:19 am #84172The snipping tool is for vista, win 7 and win 8. You also can download an add on to make it running on xp.
You can cut part of the screen or the full screen and it's copied to the clipboard. Then you can change it (eg add text) and save it as jpg.If you have full version of Office you also have it embedded in one note tool, which you can use to make screenshots too.
April 10, 2013 at 7:43 am #84173i never had hear of a sniping thing . Where do you find this ?
April 10, 2013 at 7:58 am #84174Which windows do you have? Use google or the search function of windows, type snipping tool and you should find it. In win 8 you just have to start quick launch bar and it's shown.

April 10, 2013 at 3:20 pm #84177Sounds like Warrior is wanting an ingame button to take a screenshot. I know some of the other chat ones would have a certain button on the keyboard or sequence of keys to hit. For example the one game uses the (-) button to take a screenshot and save it in a folder in your pictures. Another game uses like a ctrl+shift+ another button (not on there as much so not as familiar with the sequence) to bring up the camera for in game so they can take a screenshot and save to computer as well.
April 10, 2013 at 4:43 pm #84178generally Alt + PrtScn will capture the active window only.
The snipping tool is a feature of Vista, Windows 7 and 8. Use your search feature to locate it type “snipping tool” and the program will pull up. The nice advantage is you can capture the entire screen or use the cursor to highlight a portion, in this you can precut the chat box and other game control to create a clean visual image of the action alone.
April 10, 2013 at 4:51 pm #84179Snipping tool does it and quickpic does it too. But be careful, there are two versions, a free one and one you have to pay for.
I believe warrioir is talking about an in-game-button… But as we know there are no plans for it. Perhaps we will be surprised one day?!
April 10, 2013 at 6:04 pm #84180Ooooh i think the what you call snipping tool is called outils de capture in french
April 10, 2013 at 6:11 pm #84181Possible… it sounds like that.
November 30, 2021 at 1:11 pm #181579You can now take screen shots in the game.
The in-game Achat Camera and the mysterious hidden Screenshots folder
In the game you may have noticed a camera.
It will take pics of your game play and you can use the directional arrows and zoom in and out to find the pic you like.
The advantage of using this camera is it will get rid of all the tools you use to play. It will clear the interface for a better pic.
Lightshot and “prt sc” will not have this advantage and instead will have a more limited space for your pic.The issue with it is, it automatically saves to a mysterious folder you can never find again.
The problem is that AChat installs the saved images in an Achat screen AppData which is a hidden folder by default.Well here is a solution:
Those who don’t know how to find that elusive Achat screenshot folder – try this
Create a short cut to your achat screen shots folder –
1. Open up Achat Game & take a screen shot using your game camera (Camera icon, bottom right). This will open your Achat Screen shots folder.
2. On the folder browser bar at the top, above the pics, right click on screen shots and from the drop down menu click on “Copy address as text”
3. Then Right click on a spare space on your desk top – choose “New” ; then choose “Shortcut”
4. A pop up box appears to create your short cut.
5. Paste (ctrl+V) the “address” into the “location of item” box – it should look something like this
C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Local\AChat\Screenshots
6. Click next to finish the shortcut. Then Give the new short cut a name like “Achat Screenshots”
7. Click finish to complete the short cut and a new icon folder will appear on your desk top.
8. If you wish to, you can drag it into the same folder that hides your Achat Game.
9. If you wish to create a folder to store the Achat game and screen shot folder –
From step 3 above choose “New”, then choose “Folder” and a Folder will appear on your desk top.
Name it as you wish and drag your games & screen shots folder into it that you do not wish to be on open display on your desk top. This is a pic using the in-game camera and no interface except the achat logo
Happy Achat Pics.
