I had an ex that was very into Star Trek …. so much so he had a massive collection. I ended up watching all of them ranging from TOS to Enterprise
I have to say I actually ended up enjoying them one thing I did enjoy is the costume play with it. (Yes i know I am a big nerd but haha)
The sexist Star Trek girls in my opinion pretty obvious but I'll listJeri Ryan – Seven of Nine (ST:Voyager) Terry Farrel – Jadzia Dax (ST: Deep Space Nine) Nichelle Nicols – Lt Uhura (ST: The Original Series)
Jolene Blalock – T'Pol (Enterprise) Marina Sirtis – Deanna Troi (ST: The Next Generation)Thats of course not counting guest stars or other members on movie sets (Alice Krige – Borg Queen) … but i have also found the Mirror Universe Episodes (in Enterprise, ST: Deep Space Nine, ST: The Original Series) also changed it around a little. Because the actors were playing a different kind of character.
Nana Visitor – Intendant Kira Nerys Linda Park – Hoshi Sato – Became emperess and was more a vicious type.
Nicole Do Boer – Ezri Teegan – Intendants LoverSexist Guys from Star Trek. – Why
Scott Bakula – Jonathan Archer – Most Attractive Captain in my opinion
Connor Trinner – Trip – So Cute
Avery Brooks – Benjamin Sisko – Voice + a better rounded character.
Patrick Stewart – Jean Luc Picard – The Voice. though that being said …eyes closed regarding the rest.
Leonard Nimoy – Spock – Because Kirk … no
Porthos – Because he was soooo cute.I might try out STO … if i like it great if not oh well.
July 10, 2012 at 10:41 am #63036Star Trek Online… Season 6 coming out soon. New Fleet starbase ideas to think about. Some wonderful things happening with that.
Also, who's looking forward to the June premier of next year's new Film? I know I'll be in line for this one.
December 1, 2012 at 12:15 am #63038I'm a bit of a trekkie. Spocks death scene in “Wrath of Kahn” was the most touching thing I had ever scene.
Roger Ebert, the film critic, said that Spock's choice was that of a Hero, a fool or a Vulcan.
