Updater won’t work

hi all … i've the same problem and i tryed all the things you said but without success!
i've windows 7 – 64bit; avg antivirus and windows firewall but i've allready tried to run the pc without antivirus and firewall and game doesn't upgrade… i've no idea about i can run the game, i've tried all the things i found on the forum… can someone please send me the patch so i can manually upgrade the game? please… send me a pm so i can give my e-mail.

What happens if you start Versionupdater.exe?

If nothing works… perhaps the best is to remove achat, then download and install the latest version. Just make sure to copy your ignore-list before removing if you have people in it.

Hi, i have same problem everythink was ok, but now when i try upgrade i have somethink like this: opgrade failed! If you experience problems, please restart the program. Hmm i was trying reinstall and install again and nothink change Who know how to to upgrade manually? i know someone here trying this way and working but dont know how to do this

Version on the server: 334
Could not download version history file!!!

i have try all the solution say in the topics, the must strange is => i can manualy download this file (why Firefox can and updater cannot)

Sebek, try this:

So u manually copy the files to the program directory, the update manually my version number and run again the updater so it downloads the next one-

It'a lot of cut and paste work , but i works

Ok, I will try and make a tutorial as soon as I have the time to.

You also can delete your current version and download the latest one on the homepage (but I'm sure you already did it).

What you also can try:
– Uninstall Achat
– Check if the 'C:Program FilesAChat' directory exists: if it is there, simply delete it, and  install AChat again (download the newest version first)

– If you wanna keep your ignore-list move it to another folder first and after re-installing move it back.

from the begining i don't have this folder : 'C:Program FilesAChat' (i'm on seven x64) and i don't have 'C:Program Files (x86)AChat' too.
Info the problem was not present from january to june ; after 4 mounth absent [ business trip] the problem start…
