    It's a state of mind.  Of soul, really.

    A sadness.

    A sadness so deep no tears will come.

    An yet, still, there is hope.

    1. Experienced or felt by empathy with or imaginary participation in the life of another person.
    2. Endured or done by one person substituting for another.
    3. Committed or entrusted to another, as powers or authority; delegated.

    So, basically, all of the interactions and experiences here in this virtual existence are Vicarious.
    So don't stress out about it.
