Windows XP? Unable to start Achat.

A few things to check :

– Does your firewall and/or antivirus allow achat to reach internet?
– Is your graphic crad driver up to date (and anything on your pc)?

A lot of questions and i am not sure, if i can answer them… i will try:
1.) antivirus deactivated
2.) firewall deactivated
3.) achat worked fine a year ago (or two)
4.) achat worked a half year ago AFTER installation. starting again the other day it worked NOT. uninstall, install – it worked once (maybe cause the setup-routine was running achat)
5.) now my achat was too old. I removed it and tried to reinstall. I get 3 or 4 loading-pies… and then achat crashes without any error…
6.) drivers and os (=winxp) did not change.

Usually Achat works well even with old systems. Maybe your graphic card is causing troubles with the new high detailed maps?

i am just using the normal version – no high definition.
and it worked with versions before…
other software produces a crash-log. is there any for achat?
