Having absolute faith that someone has your back is critical, but can never excuse a misdirection of justice. Never more apparent than locally when a sheriff was involved in a fatal boating accident, no blood level testing was done on him, he was bundled up whisked away unhurt, while the victims were taken to emergency, there the testing was mandatory. The fact they found alcohol in the victims blood put them at fault, serious mis-justice and tore any public sentiment of trust.

When apathy rules,…anarchy prevails. The code of silence whether it is in the ghetto or in the ranks of law enforcement is an issue. Social responsibility extends extends beyond the ranks of the immediate.

So no matter how painful, do not lose your empathy for that which surrounds us. It may be just for children, the aged,…or if fortunate enough all who work in this world. All you can do is take it case by case, and if someone betrays that, (ie…the acid lady) hold them alone to the subjugation of the apathy.

Judges should be held accountable for their decision,..we rely on them to make impartial and astute decisions in such matters.

Take the new murder case in Kentucky as an example, where the defense is hanging its hat on caffine overdose as a defense. Voluntary drug abuse should never be allowed as a defense.

Tom it is one thing to post here, but have you used your general Public Chat thread to notify the clients who do not read the forum? You probably have a better idea of when peak usage is to get the warning out. Cell phone use while driving is my biggest peeve. My small community of 500 has lost two residents to cell phone use,…separate incidents when both were ran down in a crosswalk while the driver was too preoccupied to notice changes in speed limits and the surrounding. In this state hands free is required, still doesn't stop people.

Adrea  I agree main channel is dominated by that, but I honestly am acceptable of that, serves it's purpose as a general contact thread.

The other channels are so little used though that if one wanted to hold a multi-chat without the spamming  it can be done. That's the untapped resource of the system. (Nasty Bitches seems to be the least used)
