Well if it is gripe time, then I can certainly vent. I live in what I call a “destination” location,  a place where folks from the city flock to for recreatio. Mind you most of them are nice people, but after a weekend like this the jerks that parade around like it's their privilege right to be drunk and obnoxious tires one. When I first moved here, I wasn't certain where to launch my boat, ended up asking a local for directions, which seemed fairly clear…”Head down the street and make aright at Woolworth's”

Seemed fairly simple, though a Woolworth (an old drug store chain) being around seemed odd,…well I drove,…and drove, until it I knew I had well past any possibility of the directions accuracy. Ended up backtracking and eventually found the launch site after an hour.

Five years later while driving thru town, one of the buildings was being renovated, the current facade had been removed , and low and hold there was the Woolworth sign beneath. , right at the corner to turn to the launch site. Ended up mentioning the fact to the fellow who had given me the directions, (we had since become friends) about it, he grinned and told me, that I had rubbed him wrong with the way I worded the question, and he gave me good directions, for a time period of 20 years in the past. Had to laugh at it.

Was talking to a friend at the market on the 4th, a fellow drives up in a tricked out Hummed towing a beautiful ski boat, yells at me for directions to the launch. Not ask,… yells at me interrupting my conversation. then pressed the issue again,…before I knew, the words were slipping through my mouth

“yeah, just follow the street down to Woolwroth's….”

Liked Pathfinder,…though personally think it paled to 1992 movie “Last of the Mohicans”…(actually the 5 book Leatherstockings series, the third of which is entitled  Pathfinder wiritten by,…Cooper I think the last name is, is a hard copy series I have around here somewhere. One of the classics  written in the 1800's.  Haven't read it in years probably due for a reread…. cross thread reference I know)

Maybe true blood movie friends since I like the Sandler movies you mentioned, have 50 First Dates , Mr. Deeds in the collection.

A couple of fav's from my dvd Library,…primarily due to local connections and interests

    Seabiscuit…a true story equestrian story.
13th Warrior…(may have been mentioned before) another fav' from the library

    as a footnote…
Hildago…although was purported to be a true story, IT IS BEST CONSIDERED FICTION!,(modified this because it has not been proven false, but there is no historical race which matches the description and certain iinvestigations have raised serious questions as to Hopkins own autobiography in authenticity) don't let the tag lines based on real events take you for a ride.  Farnk T. Hopkins' writings as to the American mustang, (one of which I adopted and trained), were real,…that's about the only truth to the man that I have discerned at this time. I know many Europeans have an interest in the western stories, this one,…well represents how folklore sometimes grows beyond reality. I personally still enjoy the story.

Too bad there wasn't a better fluidity of movement between the positions, this is a natural flow for me in RL from the legs up position,  and opens the opportunity to move on top into a “folded deck chair” and others.. ;D

(thankfully a little imagination can leap this one forward)

    Arsenic and Old Lace is indeed on of the classics;

Jimmy Stewart's… “Harvey” is another fav

Original 65' version…Flight of the Phoenix,  the 2004 remake was ok but not nearly as good IMHO as the original.

I ease back into my seat, head swirling from that long, hot kiss from sinnnn. The heated action immediate in front overtaking my attention from the main feature.  My eyes are drawn to Jeanine’s withering erotic silhouette against the movie screen, a sight provocative enough arouse the heat in any man or woman.  I find myself responding. swelling in my pants at an awkward angle which demanded attention. A quick glance to the left disclosing a couple wrapped in their own passion,, that to the right a few seats away, a woman stares provocatively at Jenine’s  performance.

I am not certain if it’s the erotic dance on the screen or the action of the  luscious couple in front of me, but I could swear that the temperate bar of lust in this theater has risen dramatically over the past few minutes.

I pop the button of my jeans and slowly unzip them, releasing the tension binding the growing erection.  I am oblivious to the others at this point while my hand slides under the waistband of my boxer briefs, fingers stretching to relieve the strangled organ of its bind. My fingers barely touch it when it snaps like spring load free, the bulbous head suddenly appearing beneath the waistband. I scoot forward, shimming the jeans lower as I lifting the band of the boxers down below the scrotum, positioning myself so the zipper is not poking or prodding any of the naked skin features below. Then slide my thumb under the shaft, the index finger gripping the other side and slowly milk my way upwards raising a bead of precum from the lips of the head. A dewdrop glistening in technicolor.

I am fascinated by it, my index finger dips into this jewel, then slides down to the ribbed underside spreading the slick lubricant along the ridgeline.

My eyes dart up, Jenine appears to be preoccupied, frantic movements to shed what remaining clothes she has off. I take advantage of the momentary lull, lean forward from my seat with the soda in hand, With the free hand brush aside sinnnn’s hair as I lean in after she settles back from her directions to Jenine…and kiss her neck, before raising my lips to her ear to whisper…” God I hope that this is a double feature playing here tonight.”

Sippin' the soda that sinnnn had handed back…slightly taken aback that my spot has become a front row seat of the action.

(I believe sinnnn had stated herself a god/goddess…she can be anywhere/everywhere, and manifest clothes at her bidding….carry on ladies)

Cultural revision Carli, American tv executives do not like promote foreign shows where the accents or style of humor (not all Americans can appreciate the British form of humor) deter from show. It's typically revamped , toned down  and “Americanized” in setting and characters to gain wider audience appeal. That seldom equates into a better product. What clips I sorted through off of your link were hilarious, definitely add this to my winter watch list.

merely a suggestion, and valid reasons given why not to bring it back.

End of summer picnic, not a bad idea.
