I was going to make a joke and say “get a room!” only here, you can! Besides, I don't know you well enough (at all) for that kind of joke. I tried everything when i started. All the wrong things. Put newbie in my headline, HELP, lots of other things. nothing worked. and NOBODY talked. I finally put up sign $100 to whoever helps me get this stupid fucking hat off! I met a nice lady, we chatted, she showed me how the rooms worked. And now, for whatever reason, more and more are saying hello. Could be the “Must chat before invite” sign i put up. I don't know. Personally, I like/need at least a minimal connection for even a virtual tryst. At least a few words exchanged before the invite. I'm excited about the “Cafe” pose I read about in another thread. THAT would be cool! Even a coffee shop for group meetings! Oops, carried away again. I have met several people from on-line in the past (early to late 90's) and a few more recently. Some became good friends. Others, well “Fatal Attraction” comes to mind. Just be careful if you must and meet in neutral territory, and follow SueCB's suggestions (esp abt the 9mm lol). That said, my sister met a guy on a poetry website, divorced her husband (that part was underway, anyway), flew to the UK to meet him, got married and lived happily ever after, so far.

I used to wonder about the term 'foreplay', when (once I learned which end was up) ALL the major action took place there. Then my ex explained, it isn't foreplay, it's fourplay! I love this idea. I truly believe “reality” of the game would be enhanced with the opportunity for casual chat as well as verbal foreplay. Cafe idea would be cool as kind of a central mete-and-greet hangout, instead of sitting in front of screen twiddling thumbs. Maybe a “Robo-Bob” (or Beth) bartender! lol
