Here's something else I've done.  I gifted a member (not for sex, because I wanted to), with the condition that she take out a 3 day subscription and join the forum.  It was something of an experiment to see if she could post after her 3 days were up.  It turns out that she can continue posting, (although she got a “case of the red ass” over a comment and has since stoppped posting) so my point is:  If you know/meet someone who is a free member and you would like to help them try being premium for a few days (it's only 200 for a 3 day subscription), try  to get them to join us here.  The only problem being is that you cannot send a gift to male members.

Wow, what a great conversation this is.  Thank you Kittenlepurr for starting it, by-the-way, I like your screen name, it's cute and clever.  I can understand how you must feel when people assume that you should be obligated when they have gifted you.  In my own personal experience, I've only sent gifts to people that I care about, and I expect nothing in return.  From reading your posts, I'm willing to bet that if you do have connection problems, you explain that to the person at the first opportunity.

Bear… when I get zapped into the ignore bin all chances cease… I mean.. I got zapped for this:
Me:  “… do you believe in the here after?”
Her:  “Yes”
Me:  “Then you know what I'm here after.”
I put in a smiley face and got the Ignore Bin notice.  WTF?!?

Adera… some people don't seem to realize that there are real people behind the words being typed.  I don't want to offend anyone and  I try to use the “golden rule” here as well as in real life.

I understand that AChat is a game and there are winners (inviter) and losers (rest of the chatters) and I'm fine with that.  Just a “GTG” would be nice.

I too have had some bizarre responses/requests.  Some that have involved my daughter (she's a 10 year old going on 45 ) and one that involved digging up my late wife.  I ended those conversations quickly.  The wife one still reverberates.

In response to the point raised by Covems regarding “Girls” disappearing without saying why or where…………

I am often talking to at least 5 people at once and if I am invited, then by the time I have apologised to everyone and told them I have a date, the invite has long expired and the inviter then takes the huff because they feel I don't want to room them after all.

Of course if anyone has a better idea, I would be very glad to hear it!

How about this?  Try telling the “inviter” that you would like to end the other 4 chats first.  Politely end the chats and then go into the room.  That's not an unreasonable request is it?

From my  perspective, the number one gripe I have is: We've started chatting…  We're both being pleasant and the chatting is going well.  I send a message and I am informed that the person I was chatting with has gone into a room!  No warning, no “I'm going to go into a room with someone”… nothing.  The decent thing (IMO) is to at least “end” the chat.

Number two is:  Again, we're chatting along… being pleasant… some good jokes and messages being sent… then suddenly… no more responses and I'm chatting with myself.  Oh, she's still there but a friend or lover has showed up or for whatever reason the chat stops.  Again, say something and “end” the chat.

Number three is as a guy… you only get one chance.  I'll admit, I have a goofy sense of humor that people sometimes don't get… we'll be chatting along and I'll send (what I think) is an innocent message only to be told that I have a “smart” sense of humor that the she doesn't like.  End of chat and zapped into the ignore bin… no chance to explain… no chance to apologize. 
I wondered how many people actually clean out their Ignore Lists… I took a survey  only 11% ever do.

Back on topic:
The turn off's for me is a demand for a gift (you ladies probably don't get that one).  Incest requests (I don't want to be anyone's daddy or uncle).  I'm with you on the Repulsive Fetishes.

P.S.  I never get treated like that by Robot Girl.

For those types, like myself, who do not have the gift of gab or the ability to woo members of the opposite sex into the intimate pleasures we all seek on AChat, I offer the following:

I greatly desire to be able to mold Robot Girl to my liking, not that she looks bad now.  But I would like to be able to change her hair color and probably the style.  Maybe try out all the colors and styles available.  And dress her in all the latest AChat fashions, especially the new things that have come out.

Here's how it could work:
In the shop, there would be an option to buy a character editor for Robot Girl and Robot Boy, for $659 AChat dollars each.  Then I could buy whatever outfit or body option I want, regardless of sex.  I would only be able to wear the ones for my specific gender (in this case, male).  The non-gender clothing and options (in this case, female) would be stored in a seperate menu available to me.  Or there could be a seperate category in the shop for the robot apparel and body options.  I would happily spend the AChat money to do this.

Then once my Robot Girl and I have entered my room there would be an option… lets say a pull down menu or button that would give me access to Robot Girl's character editor.  Then I would be able to dress her in the styles I like and change her appearance, give her more jewelery, etc.

I would then be able to go from this:

       Nice, but a bit bland.

To this:

       You look wonderful tonight.

Then if I could give her more personality, Pafe's Boudoir Shoes and the ability to play scrabble better, I would have a date every night!

I, for one, am glad my Robot Girl is not promoted too much.

She's kind and she's sweet.  Sure she's unfaithful, but what else would you expect from a robot programmed for sex?

She's never told me to go away.  She's never ranted at me, well… except that time playing scrabble… she's always available, and usually tells me exactly what she wants.  Also, she never fails to respond to a message.  You don't get that kind of treatment from everybody.

Keiko, you should be very proud of your work. 

I took 3 seperate samplings of the search results, going through each female and shemale member's profile page.  On the first sampling, which was done early Saturday morning (May 12) there were 49 females and shemales on, and out of those 49, 23 of them were wearing one of Keiko's designs.  That's 46%.  Any marketing or retail firm would sell their Grand Mothers to get those kind of numbers for a release of a new product.

The second sampling was done in the late afternoon on Saturday.  There were 68 members on who were able to wear women's clothing.  Out of those 68… 32 had on a Keiko design.  That's 47%.

The third and final sampling was done in the early afternoon on Sunday (May 13).  There were 31 out of 55 possibilities wearing an Qipao by Keiko which is 56%. 

So if you add all the numbers on a average, 49% of the people who could wear one of Keiko's designs were doing so.

*All of these times are East Coast, USA times, so you would need to adjust it for whatever time zone you are in.  Also, these are not unique surveys.  In other words, some of the new fashion wearers were in each of the 3 samplings.

covems, i had see girls whitout the qipao on the avi but have it in the portrait, so we can presume that percentual can be higher…..anyway, yes, it's an incredible score, anyway!

Now that the warm weather is here in the U.S. I would like to see flip flops or sandals of some sort for the men.  I don't know how they would work for the ladies with their feet in that permanent cramp from wearing those heels.
