Sadly it's sort of a “Nature of the Beast” when it comes to chat servers. Early on the number of users is small and you can leave things pretty open. As it grows in popularity the a**holes start to find their way in.
The sad thing is there is no “good” solution.

While I know we've been waiting for an update I prefer to be cautious and I wanted to make sure it was a simple implementation issue and not anything sinister.

Janine DeeParticipantThe trick is that is how they make their real $ which keeps the servers and the developers both running. Opening options for A$ that isn't connected to real funds could take those real $ out of their pockets, which would effect AChat sooner rather then later I have to believe.

Yes it wouldn't be my avatar, but it would be a wonderful deal closer.
Janine DeeParticipantActually Bobbler if I'm understanding her right her problem is that some of the worst offenders for the cold invites/trying to chat just long enough to get you into a room are the free users. So her hope seems to be that she could filter out free users and cut the chatter and bother to a minimum.

I will however add a Japanese schoolgirl outfit would be lovely… though they already have the schoolgirl/sailorish outfit so I'm not holding my breath.
