You know? While I do not believe in censorship of any stripe I almost wish there could be a chip implanted in people's heads that could be called a “Good Taste” chip.  Say were someone to compare the horrors of Nazi Germany with a online GAME the chip would make them take a slight millisecond to think before demeaning such horrors.

Unfortunately such technology is not available, and I'm sure even if it was those who need it most would scream bloody murder rather then be compelled to truly weigh their words.

I'm honestly unsure. I DO believe that opening rooms should be a premium perk. It's if frees should be allowed in rooms that I'm unsure of. I mean I've met some wonderful frees (and yes I encouraged them to go premium) and I wouldn't mind being able to invite them into a chat room I would open, but I think a key point between you and I Bear is I would see that as a perk for me while you would see that as a perk for them. 

Seriously though I think that's the big issue here on AChat. Where those lines are drawn between the premiums, the frees, and letting the premiums use the frees.

Yes I know “use” is an ugly word, but I felt it more accurate in this case.

I was JUST on, literally just on and I had a guy say hi, ask how I was, and ask if I wanted to exchange pics. Now for those who haven't figured it out by now. I'm gay, as in sexually attracted to my own gender, as in down with licking the girl bits.  It's in my profile, both homo and that while I'll chat with anyone I room with women.

I've said it countless times before, but it always strikes me as a perfect example of people not reading profiles.

For my part I get nervous when it comes to restricting freedoms. Free speech is only free speech if everyone can use and sometimes abuse it. To censor simply because of offensive behavior is a can of worms I don't think should be opened. Only if the person is truly menacing should it move beyond the societal policing level.
